REPORT OF OVERSEERS OF THE POOR.
In reporting to the town in relation to the care and main- tenance of the poor there are many legal points that might be mentioned.
First, Revised Laws, Chapter 81, Section 1, Provides that every city and town shall relieve and support all poor and in- digent persons lawfully settled therein, whenever they stand in need thereof.
