To either of the Constables of the Town of Duxbury, in said County,
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachu- setts you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Duxbury, qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs, to meet at the High School Audi- torium in said Duxbury, on Saturday, the second day of March next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon, for the transaction of any business that may legally come be- fore said meeting, and on SATURDAY, the ninth day of March next, at seven o'clock in the forenoon at the

Town Hall, TREMONT STREET, for the election of Town Officers, and to vote by ballot "Yes or No" on the following question :
"Shall the operation of Section one hundred and five B of Chapter one hundred and thirty-one of the General Laws, requiring for the taking of fur bearing animals, the use of traps that kill at once, or take such animals alive, unharmed, be suspended within this town."
Article 1. To choose a Moderator to preside in said meeting.
Article 2. What action will the Town take relative to the appointment of necessary officers not chosen by ballot ?
Article 3. To hear the report of the various Town Officers and Committees and act thereon.
Article 4. To fix the compensation of the elected Town Officers for the year.
Article 5. To raise and appropriate such sums of money a.' will be necessary to defray Town charges.

appropriate the sum of $325.00 to be expended under the direction of William Wadsworth Post No. 165 G.A.R. for the observance of Memorial Day.

Article 8. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1935, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable with- in one year, and to renew any note or notes as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, General Laws.

Article 9. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,053.00 for the Duxbury Free Library.

Article 10. To see what amount the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the use of the Plymouth County Trustees for the County Aid to Agriculture and choose a Town Director as provided in Section 41 and 45 of Revised Chapter 128 of the General Laws, and act thereon.

Article 11. To see if the Town will vote to apply the dividend from the Plymouth County Dog Fund to the support of schools.

Article 13. To see if the Town will vote to appro- priate to the Cemetery Department the sum of $100.00 now in the hands of the Town Treasurer.

Article 14. Will the Town vote to raise and appro- priate the sum of $40.00 for the care and decoration of Boomer Square, work to be done under the supervision of the Cemetery Department.

Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $8,000.00 or such other sum as the voters shall see fit for the purpose of dredging and improving the Basin adjacent to the Town Landing and the approaches thereto. (By Petition.)

Article 16. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for propagation of shell- fish and destruction of their enemies.

Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to accept a portion of Priscilla Ave., a portion of Soule Ave., and

Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for construction or repairs of Priscilla Ave., Soule Ave., and White Street from Priscilla Ave. to Mullins Ave.

Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for one electric light at the corner of Temple & Laurel Streets. (By Petition.)

Article 21. To see what action the Town wishes to take regarding disposition of the $2,500. insurance re- ceived for the loss of Partridge Academy.

Will the Town vote to discontinue the parking place on the Town property at the westerly end of Gurnet Bridge, on condition that the parties inter- ested in this impovement lay out and plant a suitable park on said land on plans to be approved by the Planning Board in accordance with the recommendations of the

committee at the Town Meeting on March 3, 1934 to consider this subject, or take any other action thereon.

Article 23. To see whether the Town will adopt a by-law or any modification thereof for the purpose of regulating bill-boards, signs or other advertising devices.

Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the payment of labor and expense in taking the census.

Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,500.00 for sidewalk repairs and construction.

Article 1. To bring in their votes for one member of the Board of Selectmen for three years, one member of the Board of Assessors for three years, three mem- bers of the Department of Public Welfare for term of one year, for Town Clerk for the term of three years, for Town Treasurer for three years, for Tax Collector for three years, for Tree Warden for one year, for two mem- bers of the School Committee for the term of three years, for one Cemetery Trustee for the term of five years, for one member of the Planning Board for the term of five years, for three Constables for the term of one year, . and to vote by ballot "Yes" or "No" on the following question :
"Shall the operation of Section one hundred and five B of Chapter one hundred and thirty-one of the General Laws, requiring for the taking of fur bearing animals the use of traps that kill at once, or take such animals alive, unharmed, be suspended within this town?"

Polls will be open at 7 o'clock A. M. and may close at 1 o'clock P. M.
And you are directed to serve this warrant by post- ing attested copies thereof as prescribed by vote of the Town seven days at least before the time of holding said meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and place of meeting as aforesaid.
