The "Charles D. Mann Pauper Case " has finally ended with judgment in our favor. This case has been in court since 1887. It has been tried before two different Juries, once in Brockton and once in Plymouth, in each place the verdict was in favor of Scituate. Last February, one year ago, it was tried in Plymouth after which it was sent to the Supreme Court by the counsel for the town of Norwell and on November 30, 1891, it was argued before the Supreme Court in Boston, and January 11, 1892, it sent down an opinion in our favor and nothing further can be done by the town of Norwell. The cost of court will come out of the town of Norwell and will amount to something like $200, which the town of Scituate will receive from Norwell.
