The sum of $455.45 was appropriated from the surplus revenue to be used to meet unpaid bills of 1924, viz. : Health, $155.25; Highways, $275.65; Schools, $24.55.
The sum of $10,000.00 was appropriated from the sur- plus revenue to be deducted from the tax levy of the cur- rent year by the Assessors.
New street lights were ordered on North Elm, Cope- land, South Main, corner of River and Forest Streets, Wal- nut and Manley Streets.
The sum of $15,000.00 was raised and appropriated for the purpose of building a two-room addition to the Sunset Avenue school building, including the cost of original equipment and furnishings of the addition. $1,000.00 to be raised in the levy of 1925; $14,000.00 to be borrowed on notes in accordance with the provisions of Sect. 19 of Chap- ter 44 of the General Laws. Orvis F. Kinney, Albert Man- ley, Chester Thayer and Carroll S. Pike with one member from the School Committee (Albert D. Barker) were appointed as the Building Committee.
For the purpose of extending water mains of less than six inches in diameter, the Town voted to raise and appro- priate the sum of $5,000.00, and the Treasurer was authorized to issue notes, with the approval of the Select- men for the same.
The Selectmen were instructed to appoint a committee of three to investigate the possibility of a Town Forest.
Albert C. Snow, Maj. Frederic E. Foye and Horace R. Snell were appointed by the moderator to investigate the desirability of having a memorial to perpetuate the names of the Soldiers of the Town who served in all the wars and $100.00 for the use of the Committee.

SPECIAL TOWN MEETING, OCTOBER 26, 1925

It was voted that the Town indemnify the Common- wealth of Massachusetts against any and all claims for land, grade and drainage damages which may be caused by or result from the laying out, alteration or reconstruction of State Highway or section of State Highway in West Bridge- water, and the Selectmen were instructed to sign an indemnity agreement therefor in behalf of the town indemnifying the Commonwealth as aforesaid.
The sum of $450.00 was appropriated from the surplus revenue to purchase a lot of land between the Sunset Avenue School Building and the Sunset Avenue Congrega- tional Church.
