The arrests were as follows: 4 assault, 1 assault and battery, 2 bastardy, 2 cruelty to animals, 12 drunkenness, 2 keeping and exposing, 2 larceny, 2 lewdness, 3 non-sup- port, 2 profanity, 2 violating fish and game laws, 9 violat- ing motor vehicle laws, 2 vagrants.


One person committed to the Insane Hospital at Taun- ton.


The Treasurer has received $104.41 in Court fines.

Fire Department.


In compliance with the requirements, I submit the re- port of the West Bridgewater Fire Department for the year ending December 31, 1925, which will include the loss of property, and fires as near as can be ascertained.


CALL FORCE


The force consists of twenty men, one chief, one as- sistant chief, three captains, one lieutenant, and five for- est wardens.


WIRE DEPARTMENT


There has been about 1,000 feet of insulated wire in- stalled, taking the place of old iron wire, four bells changed, and two new bells inserted.

In performing this service the apparatus has traveled 235 miles. The department has laid 7,200 feet of 212 and 3 inch hose, 2,200 feet of chemical hose. It has raised 530 feet of ladders and used 1,136 gallons of chemical.
