Tree Warden's Report.
The Tree Warden of Westford submits the following report:
During the past year my work has consisted of thinning and trimming trees on the roadside and cutting the brush on about fifteen miles of road, and would recommend that some of the White Oaks along the roadside be removed, and that on the wood roads the owner should try and leave standing any nice young trees, instead of the tall trees with branches only on the top, as this would prevent the brush from growing so freely by the roadside.
There has been one case of cutting shade trees without my permit. Settlement was made by this party.
