REPORT OF BOARD OF HEALTH
We herewith submit the following annual report for the year ending Dec. 31, 1929.
In the Town of Westford there seems to be less contagious and Infectious diseases each year.
The Board of Health has continued with their yearly treatments for the prevention of diphtheria by the injection of toxin antitoxin, which has been gladly accepted by the great majority of the children with gratifying results. Not a case of diphtheria has been reported in the Township this year.
Our milk situation has steadily improved as to the grade of milk and the handling of said milk, as our inspection reports show.
The dental clinics have been patronized freely, as the Dentist's report shows, for the good and welfare of the school children.
Following this report is the statement of our Public Health Nurse, who now has conscientiously and faithfully performed her many duties.
The Board of Health has returned to the Town an unexpended balance of $1,258.80.
Respectfully submitted,
CYRIL A. BLANEY, Chairman T. ALFRED HUGHES JOHN EDWARDS, Secretary
