AUDITOR'S REPORT.
We hereby certify that we have examined the Treas- urer's accounts for 1897, Collector's books for 1893, '94, '95, '96, and '97; and find them correct, with balance of thirteen hundred sixty-two dollars and forty-six cents in treasury.
Also Selectmen's orders, Valuation and Commitment books, and find them properly vouched and cast ; we would suggest that the Treasurer be requested to keep a proper Ledger account with Notes Payable, also each Appropria- tion, Trust Fund, and Cemetery.

Of 248 cattle killed at licensed slaughter houses without tuberculin test, none have been found diseased. One hundred and thirty-five cattle have been brought into this town from out of the state on Commissioners' permits, and released by tuber- culin test, no disease being found upon them.
