Art. 7 Voted that the Town Treasurer with the ap- proval of the Selectmen, be authorized to borrow money in anticipation of the revenue of the current financial year beginning January 1, 1926 and to issue a note or notes therefore payable within one year, and debt or debts in- curred under this vote to be paid from the resources of said financial year.
Art. 8 Voted to instruct the Selectmen to prosecute any persons selling or transporting intoxicating liquors in this town contrary to the laws of the Commonwealth.
Art. 9 Voted that the Dog Tax of 1925 be given to the Library.
Art. 10 Voted unanimously to authorize and direct the Committee on Water Supply for the Town of Wilbraham to petition the General Court for permission and authority

to issue water bonds not to exceed one hundred thousand dollars, for the purpose of furnishing and installing a water system for the Town of Wilbraham.
Art. 11 Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,550. to purchase a tractor Grader.
Art. 12 Voted to raise and appropriate $165. for a new Adding Machine for the Town Office.
Art. 13 Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) to be expended by the Trustees for County Aid to Agriculture for the County of Hampden in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 273 of the Acts of 1918, the same to be applied to the pur- pose of teaching and demonstrating better practice in Agriculture and Homemaking.
Art. 14 Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of $3,000. to continue the permanent highway work on the road leading from Wilbraham to the Hampden line, pro- viding the State and County furnish a like amount.
Art. 15 Voted to fix the compensation of Town Of- ficers for the ensuing year as follows: Selectmen, chair- man, $250; Others, $200; Treasurer, $250; Assessors, $5.00 per day.
Art. 16 Voted to raise and appropriate $300 for the use of the Wilbraham Post of the American Legion in carrying out the following program :
A. The proper observance of Memorial Day.

B. The care of the Memorial lots at North Wilbraham, Wilbraham and Glendale.
Art. 18 Voted to elect the following committee of five members to consider the purchase of a lot for a Junior High School, and report at the next Annual Meeting: Miss E. O. Beebe, T. L. Bower, L. W. Green, L. W. Rice and Mrs. C. L. Merrick.

Art. 23 Voted to compensate the individual members of the George W. Kingdon Fire Company at the rate of ninety cents per hour for actual time spent on the way to the fire, time spent in returning from fire and also in re- filling the chemical tanks after arriving back at the fire station. This shall be in addition to the compensation now received. This additional compensation shall be paid from November 1 to April 1. Voted to raise and appropriate $250.
Art. 24 Voted to leave in hands of Selectmen.

Art. 26 Voted to raise and appropriate $2,000. to erect and maintain a Portable School in the Mountain View Park district.

Voted that the unexpended balance of the appropria- tion of the Pines Schoolhouse Building Committee ($144.12) be used for the payment of the bond due 1926.
Voted that the unexpended balance of the appropria- tion of the Water Supply Committee ($176.45) be placed to the credit of said Committee.
Voted that the vote passed under Art. 26 be rescinded.
Voted to transport the pupils of the Mountain View district to School No. 8 and to the Pines School and that the matter be left in the hands of the School Committee.

REPORT OF THE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
Held May 7, 1926 at seven o'clock P. M. in Grange Hall.
Art. 1 Frank A. Gurney was elected Moderator.
Art. 2 Voted to raise and appropriate the sum of $900. to pay for damage to the property of John W. Baldwin and $350. to pay for damage to the Collins Estate on ac- count of the change in grade at the new underpass in North Wilbraham.
Art. 3 Voted to authorize the Selectmen to defend any suits that may be brought against the Town by the Collins Estate.

Art. ? Voted that before accepting Chapter 295 of the Acts of 1926 the Water Committee be authorized to have plans and specifications made and competitive bids given on the same, which shall be submitted to the Town at a future meeting to which we shall adjourn.

Art. 4 Voted that a sum not to exceed $500. be raised and appropriated to pay for such preliminaries as shall be found necessary to procure a form of contract from some contractor whose financial ability is to be guaranteed to the effect that said contractor will do all work necessary to put in the water system in the Town of Wilbraham as set forth in the report of Durkee, White & Towne sub- mitted at the Town meeting held July 12, 1926. Voted that the Selectmen borrow $500 for the use of the Com- mittee.

Art. 6 Voted that the Selectmen be authorized to borrow $500 for the purpose of putting an iron pipe through the old underpass at North Wilbraham. Voted that $350. additional be appropriated, all to be paid within one year.

REPORT OF THE SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
Report of the Adjourned Meeting held at Grange Hall August 9, 1926 at 7 P. M.
Resolution :
Whereas: In relation to and in considering a public water supply for the Town of Wilbraham, it becomes evi- dent that a portion of the town can never be directly bene- fited thereby, and other portions only gradually, it is here- by resolved: That in the event of a public water supply for the Town of Wilbraham, the Assessors shall make a just and equitable difference in valuation between property to which it is available and property to which it is not available, such valuations being subject to the usual laws of abatement and appeal. And that this resolution be spread uppon the records of this meeting.

Voted to accept Chapter 295 of the Acts of 1926. 136 Yes. 50 No.
Art. 3 and Art. 4 Voted. Polls opened for election of Water Commissioners by ballot at 9 P. M.
Voted that for the purpose of supplying the inhabi- tants of the Town of Wilbraham with water as authorized by Chapter 295 of the Acts of 1926, there be raised and appropriated the sum of $100,000 and that to meet said

appropriation. the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow, under authority of and in accordance with the provisions of said Chapter 295 of the Acts of 1926, the sum of $100,000 and to issue bonds or notes therefor, said bonds or notes to be payable in accordance with the provisions of said Act and of Chapter 44 of the General Laws, so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more than thirty years from the date of issue of the first bond or not or at such earlier dates as the Treasurer and Selectmen may determine.
