LL Wool Ingrain and Body Brussels make fine rugs, and are warranted to be
first-class. Tapestry Brussels make good rugs, but not as nice as Body Brussels. Moquettes, Velvets, Wiltons, or any cut Brussels make only second class work. My machinery is all improved and [ am prepared to, and do, make tiner and better rugs than any other manufacturer in the city, and no one can compete with the work at my prices, as I have no rents to pay.
I do not say any kind of old carpets will make handsome rugs as some weavers claim, for it is impossible to make something from nothing. But if you send me nice material I will make you fine work. Silk Portieres and Rag Carpets also Woven.
