CERTIFICATE.

BRANDYWINE MILLS, Aug. 1804.

We have now in operation in our Mills one of McFarland & Carpenter's New Bran Dusters, and believe it in preferable to any other now in use. We have Johnson's also, and Frost and Monroe's in operation here. We recommend the said Duster, with great confidence, to the Millers; believing it to be a great acquisition to the machinery of a Mill, as it thoroughly separates the flour from the bran, which cannot be done by the ordinary process of Bolting. The power to drive it is very small and of no consequence, not being perceptible in our Mills
