The ancestor of the present proprietors was the first in this country to rear GARDEN SEEDS on a systematic plan, which, in its results, secured public confidence, and a reputa- tion for them unapproached by any other seeds sold in America, and which they have sus- tained for a period approaching three quarters of a century.
