MOERS SEED COMPANY HOUSTON, TEXAS
Dealers in a line of Seeds specially adapted to the South and well known as the
Seeds That Grow
because of the reliability of their germination.
By a painstaking system of eliminating from their stock at frequent intervals, all old seeds or those showing the least evidence of a lack of proper germinating qualities, the stock is kept constantly fresh and the seeds put out have become standardized in the minds of the farmers and gardeners using them, hence the label: "SEEDS THAT GROW, from Moers Seed Company" is an INSURANCE POLICY as to germination,
J. S. MOERS
Mr. J. S. Moers, proprietor of the Moers Seed Co., is a comparatively young man, a native of Harris County, Texas. and of German descent. He exemplifies in business the sturdy, conservative methods of the German character and has imbibed early in life the enterprising and progressive spirit characteristic of his home city, Houston. We have unexcelled facilities for handling and shipping straight and mixed carlots, and we realize it is the price and quality that gets the business. Our weekly quotations would interest you. Dixon-Werner Molasses Mixed Feed Machine
The Molasses Mixed Feed Problem Solved MANUFACTURED BY
WERNER-MITCHELL MACHINE WORKS FOR SALE BY E. S. DIXON & CO., HOUSTON
a machine that mixes a batch of 500 pounds of molasses feed of such variety as wheat bran, corn bran, rice bran, alfalfa meal or cut hay or straw, cotton seed hulls, corn chops, ground oats or oat clipping and molasses at the rate of four tons per hour; one man can operate and mix successfully, but requires the services of four men to operate at the full capacity, covers floor space about 12 x 12 feet and requires 10 to 12 H. P.
Complete Plant Within Itself
The logical market for molasses mixed feed is your home town and vicinity; therefore, it would not be prac- tical to spend several thousand dollars to equip a special plant for the purpose of manufacturing this commodity and depend on the whole country for a market. The Dixon-Werner Feed Mixer is a complete plant within itself, does not require the outlay of much money and will pay for itself many times within one year, as you would be able to get a margin of $4.00 to $6.00 per ton more for manufacturing and selling your own brand of mixed feed than selling staples such as corn, oats, wheat bran, etc. Write us for further particulars, prices, terms, etc.
