By EULA MAE MCNUTT, WANDA LANE & KARRIE CASTLE
Visited Mar 18 1984
This cemetery was one that was very difficult to get to when it was covered back in June of 1980 and recorded in Volume 2. It was very badly grown over and had to cut our way through. This is the latest list covered almost 4 years later. At one end it was completely covered with tall grass. Cattle trampled, broke & crumbled the rocks. Stones were lying everywhere. This list is some of the ones that were not accessible before, and a few corrections and updates.

OSBORNE CEMETERY - Dungannon Area
By GEORGE A. PRUNER
Sent Aug 3 1982
This is an excerpt from his letter:
"I am now addressing you about the unmarked and unnamed graves of HENRY WOOD OSBORNE and his first wife ATTELIA ANN (GIBSON) OSBORNE which are, as I am advised, located on a high hill northwest of Dungannon, about 142 miles South of Secondary Highway No. 653 and in the Floyd Magisterial District of Scott Co.
"This couple are mentioned in EARLY OSBORNES AND ALLEYS with Notes on Allied families, by RITA K. SUTTON, p. 33.
"Mrs. SUTTON gives the birth date of HENRY WOOD OSBORNE as 1834. His marriage to ATTELIA ANN GIBSON occured in Scott County June 16, 1861, he being a son of JOHN OSBORNE and POLLY she being a daughter of WILLIAM GIBSON & PERMELIA PERRY. After the death of ATTELIA ANN, married secondly one HANNAH PORTER of Russell County, in Russell County, April 12, 1900. HENRY WOOD OSBORN died in Russell County in 1912, on the lands of his 2nd wife' father M. L. PORTER., but his body was taken back to Hunter's Valley for burial beside the body of his first wife.
"ATTELIA ANN GIBSON, the oldest child of WILLIAM GIBSON and PERMELIA PERRY, the latter couple having married in Tazewell County, Virginia March 10, 1817, was an older sister of my paternal grandmother, CATHERINE GIBSON. Hence, my interest."

THOMAS MOORE CEMETERY - Location Unknown
By DIANA ROBERTS
"This is in the middle of a cow field and at one time had a fence, but it fell. About 1940 a chain link fence was put up, but it may have fallen by now from what I hear. PETER STALLARD & MARGARET ADDINGTON his wife may be buried there. This would be near what was the old PETER STALLARD home. "
"This old cemetery would have the following."
ANDREW JACKSON ADDINGTON SR. 1815 - ca 1900 in Scott Co. Va.
(wife of VERLINA HUTCHINSON ADDINGTON 1819 - June 2 1897 in Scott Co. Va. ANDREW JACKSON ADDINGTON SR. )
WILLIAM HENDERSON ADDINGTON Jan 12 1879 - 1902 in Scott Co. Va. (son of ANDREW JACKSON ADDINGTON JR., killed in a coal mining accident.)
Possibly the son of ANDREW JACKSON & VERLINA, JOHN H. ADDINGTON ca 1985 - 1890 killed by a tree.
Possibly MARIAH/MARIE RAMEY, wife of JOHN H. ADDINGTON, DAU OF JOHN & RENA OSBORN RAMEY, who also died young. They had 2 children, JAMES & FRED who were raised by their uncle ANDREW JACKSON ADDINGTON JR.
Possibly SIZEMORE or SOLOMON S. ADDINGTON, son of ANDREW JACKSON & VERLINA H. ADDINGTON, born 1854 and died early teens. The following is from Scott Co. Vitals; LIEMON S. ADDINGTON died Oct 19 1869 of the fever, age 15 years old parents; A.J. & VERLINA ADDINGTON.
Possibly JAMES D. or JIM who died early manhood (born about 1860's) Son of
