John Russell took both censuses for 1820, certifying the state census on the second and the federal census on the sixteenth of December. The state census for 1818 was taken by Martin Jones and dated May 14.


George W. Meguire, a "foreigner not naturalized," between the ages of 16 and 26, and with no family, is given in the federal census as residing between Andrew Bowman (96) and Burd E. Miles (97).
