Opening remarks were made by the Pres. Mrs. Hill and by New Garten, in he has always Low-a helper and attendent of our M.M. meetings.

Praise and testimonials were given by the Brand. Www. Camin was reported as ill as was also Mr. White The President explained the reasons for calling the Brand. Meeting. The Drive- some Docals had been successful and thave sent in their money. Others have not been so fortunate: It was to keep the women get their money for the assessment for the Missionary Convention.

There was a shortage of funds this year, but the shortage was general. This meeting is to draw us closer together. Som Christian women of Indiana to put over a program for Missions . The Brand was advised to take a stand in the community for those things we believe best. One's influence means so much. Instruct Delegates that they are to sit in Convention help make it a success and bring back a good report. Send good material to Convention that they may go back and instruct the wormen. Be kind forgiving, forbearing-more sweet for nothing is gained by striking back.

Mrs. Relefond was appointed to act as secretary for the Chairman of the Program Com. Mrs. Hyte was appointed Chairman of Education Dept. for Southern District and Mrs. Dennegan Kokomo was af pointed for the northern District, there will be a contest between the two districts and the Chairman bringing in the largest amount of money will be crowned the successful worker.

It was berplained that Mothers, lives and art Depts. had always bought in enough money to make up the education money given Hosting Banda. This year they were notable to do that and the Education Dept, has not functioned as in years past. Mothers Dept. Mrs. Gilson chairman asked the members to take back to their locale the word that they are asked to have something on Mothers Day. second Sunday in May, Mother's Dept." First Sunday in May and Fatherd Day, second Sunday in June. Mrs. Bailey appealed for more support for the

Art Dept. and asked premiere to boost for it from now on: In art piece leftover from the last Convention is still held and if each member of the Brand worked for it , the one bringing the largest amount over one dolia will be given the pet. It was decided to try the plan. Curves- Ma Henry plans sending dahlia seeds to the societies and Tasks them to plant them, and some time take the flowers to Church and explain that they are from the Missionary Garden. Each local is asked to send 25 to pay the cost of marking the seeds. Beautify the parsonages. Name the factory for the Church or for the Missionary Society.

Mite Boles. - Mrs. Heinz spoke of frute Boles and gave them to those who didn't have them. Bring them to the Convention. young People. - Was. with the spirit of the meeting She explained that the local socities should elect their own women to take the young Peoples work. Her qualifications are to be the same as those of the Semon body. Make it plan to the locals that that is what they are to do.

Locals may grant Delegates certificates to any of the older faithful members who want to attend the Con vention and pay their own expense.

Mrs. Bailey urged that as many boys and girls as possible he brought to noblesville on Saturday of the Convention for a big Chows under Mrs. Sworden. Find out the number coming and the names if the songs will be sent them. The U. Po pro- gram will be on Saturday.

Mrs. Sworden of the Y. Po. Chows made a plea for better music this year. The President promised to furnish the Education Dept. with cards as soon as possible. She explained that the Michigan and Alinin' Conference Branch M. M. Drieties had fallen down in their support of Hastings Banda, Indiana is the only Conf. Branches which has stood right behind him and will continue. until his education is completed.

Ind. Conf. Branch has also helped the daughters of Mesdames Cheatar and Watkins this year. & Mrs. Bailey, Marion, reported that Hastings Banda is in Bloomington and his grades and department are so that we may well feel proud of the help we are able to give him. Brand Members were called one for any suggestions or expressions they wished to make. The Pres suggested that Mis. Bailey hold her 1. P' Congress while the Executive Board is in session Then we'll all go on a hike or something The Reception will be held thursday night.
