The P.E. of the Indianapolis District Rev. D. a. Wilson and the Rev. R. H. Ohilliamson having not yet arrived the Pes. mrs q.B. Hill turned the meeting again over to the P. G. Chas. H. Jackson and the ministerial brethren who feld a soul storing service as follows: P.E. Jackson spoke upon Rom. 10:17 as a basis: Faith cometh by hear- ing and hearing by the word of God". He told of the faith, sacrifice and service in thest and South africa and of our duty to those who have not the gospel.
Rev. a. E. Taylor told of the golden age of Opportunity in which the missionary workers could bless the world with righteous endeavor.
The young Peoples Choir Sang "all of my Sins are Taken away" Rev. J. P. 2. Otallace, a delegate to the general Conference gave a most inspir- ing talk en couraging the women. The keynote of his speech was love. The love Bishop Brooks manifested in his refusal to come away from thest africa until he had, accomplished a greater work.

Wallace and urged a return to the family altar.

Social ministery is team work or work- ing together Of the church wants a piece of work done It does and must call upon the christian women to do it.
He told of the sacrifice of some of ourearly proncer bishops; Some had been imprisoned and even turned away from the doors of our own people. Bishops Payne & Quinn had been beaten up in Indiana while trying to extend the gospelthru our church in the middle West. The closing Cent. Williamson's Sermon was like Pauls advice and farewell to Timothy and while this veteran Brother of 80 yrs talked we were moved to tears. He closed with a benediction upon the work of Christian Aromen. The Communion which followed was very impressive 8/ person having taken the Lords Supper of which 19 were young people 2 were Juniors .

The paper on "Organic Unim" by mrs Ida mae myller, one of the delegates to the national Quadrennial Con. at Brook- lyn N. Y. was of great interest and held the attention 01 all present. the are glad to note this paper was published (in our a. M. E. Review Jan. Nr. 1924. and can and should be read by all of our missionary workers.

The President presented our own mary g. Evans Evangelist and Castor of St. John; Miss Ellen Kelley Principal of no 19 School of Indpls; Miss Grady, Teacher of No 26 Andpl's. The reports of Districts were inter- esting and showed a growth of the Missionary Spirit. (See The Report)

Sunday 3:00 P.M. The mass meeting was full of interest from the first song to the close of the session we had two noted visitors to speak. Mrs" m. J. Handy our national President and Rev. J. Y. Tantsi from Bishop Vernon's Conference in South africa. This was the hour more Cena Cottman, Miss Ida Mae myller Miss mary Evans, Miss Lucille Murphy were to give their report of their trip to Brooklyn national Mission- any Convention but they gave way. for these noted speaker's, The time was profit ably taken as all were greatly inspired with a er missionary heal!
- Sunday 7:30 P. M. The usual Candle Light service was of great value spiritually all responded with a verse from the Bible the President and state officers were all dressed in white and led in the service.
Rev. J. J. Craven preached at the evening service to a well filled house and an inspiring service. after the final report of the Cor. Seat. mis K. Cordial words of welcome given by representatives from the local church; Calvary Bak- tist; the M. E Church. Schaffen Chapel; Union and antioch Baptist churches to which mrs. C. Smith responded on behalf of the State and National bodies. in a most pleasing and fitting manner as well as instrue- tive.
