Perry, Pastor, Mrs Tina Local Pres. The Convention was called to order by Rev. abraham Cottman, P.E. of the India- napolis District, in the absence of Rer. Dr. H. Giles, P.G. of the Evansville District, absent on the account of the sickness of his brother in n. y.
Rev. ottman announced Hymn no, The Convention sang with fervor. Scripture Lesson Is. 66 was read by Rev. Cotturai. P.E. Prayer was offered by her Phelps of Vincennes a. M. E. Church.
P. E. bothman presented Mrs. G. B. Hill, State President who then took charge and immediate- ly present Rev. I. L. Upthe grove pastor of Spruce St. Terre Haute who was to preach the annual Missionary Sermon. Rev. Cix. Upthegrove prefixed his sermon with the statement! I will not ask for prayers now as it was too late; you should have
