In the name of the commonwealth you are hereby directed to notify and warm the inhabitants of the Town of Leverett, qualified to vote in Jawan affairs, to mut in the auditorium of the elementary school at said Leverett on Tuesday the twelfth day of april next, at eight o'clock in the evening, then and there to act on the following articles, namely:


article! To see if the town will vote to rescind all action taken under article 10 of the warrant for the annual town meeting held February 12, 1955, whereby the sum of $10,710. was appropriated for Chapter 81, Highway work.


article 2: To see if the town will vote to record all action taken under article 11 of the warrant for the annual town meeting held February 12, 1955, whereby the sun of $2,400. was appropriated for Chapter 90, Highway Maintenance.

The need of more land at the East Leverett Cemetery was discussed and in view of the fact that the Town owns land on the west side of the cemetery it was voted that the Town transfer to the Leverett Cemetery association a 135ft plot of land to enlarge the East Riverett cemetery. It was estimated that the addition of this land would increase the capacity of the Cemetery about 735 graves.
