Article 12. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of $2210. for conservation planning, any or all of which may be used to match Ford Foundation funds, or act otherwise thereon.

Article 16. To see if the Town will establish, under the provisions of General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 8D, an historical commission of the Town of Leverett, for the pur- poses and with the rights and duties provided by law, to be composed of three members, appointed by the Selectmen for terms of three years, except that initial appointment shall be one member for one year, one member for two years, and one member for three years, or act otherwise thereon.
Article 17. To see if the Town will raise, appropriate or transfer from available funds, the sum of $9000.00 for use by the Bicentennial Committee, or act otherwise thereon.
Article 18: To see if the Town will establish a bylaws revision committee of three or more members to be appointed by the moderator, to study the feasibility of drafting a set of town bylaws, to be authorized a sum of money for necessary expenses, and to report back to the next annual town meeting its recommendations, or act otherwise thereon.
Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to appoint an unsalaried voluntary committee of three residents to research a plan of parlia- mentary procedure for the town to follow at all meetings, with the provision that the committee will present this plan to the town as an article on the warrant of the 1974 Annual Town Meeting, or act otherwise thereon.
Article 20. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to appoint an unsalaried, voluntary committee of three residents to apply for a bulk postage rate for the town hall, to be used for the mailing of warrants for all special and annual town meetings, to every household in Leverett (mailing time to coincide with regular post- ing of warrants in town buildings and newspapers). The mailing rate shall also be available for use by all official town committees. In support of this article, the town shall also vote to appropriate $165. to cover the cost of application fee($15), yearly basic charge ($30.) plus $120. to cover the cost of approximately 6 bulk mailings to the ± 400 households in the town, or act otherwise thereon.
