and to determine in each case how and under whose direction the money shall be expended; to impose any conditions and restrictions thereon which the Town may see fit; to determine how much money so appropriated shall be available for expenditures under General Law (Ter. Ed.) Chap- ter 40, Section 5, Clause 34; to determine what, if any, sums so appropriated shall remain available after December 31, 1960; to fix the terms and rate of interest of any such bonds or notes; to fix such salaries as require to be fixed by the Town Meeting; and to impose such conditions upon the draw- ing of compensation from the Town as the Town may see fit; or take any action in relation to any of the foregoing subjects.
ANNUAL VOTES
ARTICLE 2. (By Direction of Selectmen). To take any action the Town may desire upon the reports of the several Town Boards and Committees and to appoint or change any Committee that the Town may think proper.
ARTICLE 3. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to authorize its Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, on and after January 1, 1961, to borrow in anticipation of the revenue of the year of 1961.
ARTICLE 4. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see what sum of money the Town will vote from surplus for the use of the Assessors in de- termining the tax rate for the year 1960, or take any other action in rela- tion thereto.
ARTICLE 5. (By Direction of Selectmen). That the Selectmen be authorized to sell or otherwise dispose of personal property and any real estate of which the Town has possession or title, including all property taken for non-payment of taxes, all such cases of sale to be made by public auction or private sale as the Selectmen may deem for the best interest of the Town, and that the Board or Officer in charge of any other

Town Department may, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, sell at public auction or private sale, as the Board of Selectmen may ap- prove, any personal property belonging to said Department which in the opinion of the Officer or Board in charge of the Department which is no longer needed by the Town and which in the opinion of the Selectmen is not needed by any other Department, provided that in each case involv- ing real estate, majorities of the Planning Board, Board of Public Works and Park Commissioners respectively vote to concur in the opinion that the property will not be needed for parks, playgrounds or other public use, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTIICLE 6. (By Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will vote to authorize its Board of Selectmen to accept conveyances or mortgages of any real or personal property belonging to persons receiving relief from the Town, and dispose of said property in the manner they may judge for the Town's best interest and to authorize them to discharge any encumbrances on said property if they consider it for the best in- terest of the Town so to do and to see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate for the discharging of such encumbrances.
ARTICLE 7. (On Petition and by Direction of Selectmen). To see if the Town will accept the several reports of the Selectmen laying out as Town ways the following designated private ways and parts of ways or any of them, to wit:
Albert Road - From Hinston Road 337.08 ft. Easterly.
Alroy Road - From Main Street 1007 ft. Westerly to Dead End. Alta Road - From Veronica Lane 200 ft. Northerly.
Cornish Street - From end of existing Town Way 524.38 ft. South- westerly.
Easy Street - From Mason Street 588.54 ft. King Philip Street. Kent Road - From Central Street 453.05 ft. Southerly.
King Philip Street - From Mason Street 300.00 ft. Easterly.
Nash Road - From Main Street 836 ft. Easterly to Dead End.
Overlook Road - From Westminster Road 1081 ft. to Chapman Street.
Rindge Street - From Commercial Street 640.5 ft. Southerly to Existing Town Way.
Sandra Lane - From Ingrid Road 369 ft. Southerly to Dead End. Sandra Lane North - From Ingrid Road 230 ft. Northerly to Dead End.
Shady Lane - From King Philip Street 580.00 ft. Southerly.
Sunny Plain Avenue - In accordance with Article 14 of 1959 Annual Town Meeting - From the end of the existing 40 foot public way at house No. 48 Northerly 385.00 ft.
Veronica Lane - From Cedar Street 927,22 ft. Easterly to Hingham Line.
Welland Road - From 100 ft. Easterly from No. 64 Welland Road. Welland Circle - From Welland Road 180 ft. Northerly and South- erly.
and will authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift or purchase or take by right of eminent domain in fee or otherwise for all purposes of a public street and highway in and over each of said streets as laid out and accepted, and see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise

and appropriate for the working of each of the above-named streets, in- cluding the acquisition of the fee or any interests above referred to, and for the building of any bridges, drains and conduits or securing easements which may be necessary in connection therewith, and to see whether the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen to accept deeds of any reservation strips existing in connection with any said streets, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 8. (At Request of Board of Public Works). To see what sum of money the Town will vote to raise and appropriate to reconstruct, resurface, widen, straighten, relocate or work, Commercial and Pleasant streets and/or any other streets, or any portion of said ways and for the building of any bridges, drains and conduits, or securing easements which may be necessary, in connection therewith, and to see whether the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen to accept deeds of any reservation strips existing in connection with said street, provided the State or County, or both, will appropriate a sum of money to help defray the expenses of such work; and transfer from surplus funds that the Town may have, the County and State share of said cost, the amount of this transfer or reimbursement to be credited to the account from which it came; and will authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, pur- chase or take by right of eminent domain, in fee or otherwise, for all pur- poses of a public street and highway in and over said street and such property as may be necessary, or take any other action in relation thereto.
