Desarted from Camp in Cambridge

[Massachusetts Archives, Vol. 55, p. 54.] Another Roll [Vol. 56, p. 179], dated Sept. 25, 1775, has the same names.

Mr. Henry S. Perham once expressed to the writer the opinion that the name Chambers on the foregoing roll might be erroneously given for Chamberlain.

This was the first enlisted company of Chelmsford men, and was stationed at Cambridge, serving from April 25, 1775 to February, 1776.
