REPORT OF THE CEMETERY COMMISSIONERS

The Cemetery Commissioners offer the following brief report of its activities for the year.

At the North Cemetery the new area is completely laid out into lots and paths, and the streets ready for paving. The remainder of the trees on this lot will be set at an early date.

At Lakeview the entire area acquired from the Dammers estate is now laid out and has furnished more than 330 new lots, which are being rapidly taken.

The paving of the principal roads with "hot-top" has been con- tinued in both cemeteries, with great satisfaction in both their appear- ance and in their use; and with marked saving of time in caring for them.

Twelve Perpetual Care Funds have been given this year, amounting to $1,650. The list follows:

Llewellyn Mills Fund, a bequest of Llewellyn Mills for the perpetual care of Lot 146, North Cemetery $150.00

Everett O'Dell Fund, given by Everett W. O'Dell for the perpetual care of Lot 25, Lovell addition 150.00

Sixty burials were made this year in the several cemeteries, for which we collected $2,481. Forty-seven were buried in Lakeview, 10 in the North and 3 in the Center. Twenty-two lots were sold: 17 in Lakeview, 4 in North Cemetery, and one in the Center. One hundred thirty-two persons paid $584 for yearly care. Receipts from lots $1,100, and for one single grave $15.00. Four foundations were built, bringing in $55. and one marker set $5.00.
