COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.
Worcester, ss.
To Either Constable of the Town of Milford, in said County,
Greeting :
In the name of the Commonwealth aforesaid, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town, quali- fied by law to vote in Elections and in Town affairs, to meet at the Town Hall in said Town, on MONDAY, THE SIXTH DAY OF MARCH, A. D. 1893, punctually at eight o'clock in the fore- noon, to act upon the following articles, namely :-
(The Polls may be closed at four o'clock in the afternoon on said day of meeting.)
ARTICLE 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meet- ing.
ARTICLE 2. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the year ensuing. A Town Clerk, Town Treasurer, Tax Collector, Auditor, three Selectmen, three Assessors, three Overseers of the Poor, three members of the School Committee (one to fill vacan- cy), three Trustees of Public Library (one to fill vacancy), three members of the Board of Health, two Trustees of Vernon Grove Cemetery, and fifteen. Constables, to be voted for on ballots pre- pared and furnished in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 386 of the Acts of 1890; also upon said ballots the voters will give in their votes "Yes" or "No" in answer to the question, "Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this Town?"
ARTICLE 3. To hear and act upon the report of the Select- men, School Committee, Overseers of the Poor, Treasurer, Engi- neers of Fire Department, Tax Collector, Trustees of Public Library, Trustees of Vernon Grove Cemetery, and any other offi- cers and committee of said Town.
ARTICLE 4. To raise and appropriate such sum or sums of money as may be necessary to defray Town expenses for the year ensuing.
ARTICLE 5. To see what action the Town will take in re- gard to the report of the Selectmen on lighting its streets.

ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasur- er to borrow money in anticipation of the taxes of the current year.
ARTICLE 7. To determine when all taxes shall be collected and paid into the treasury the year ensuing, and to fix the com- pensation of the Collector of Taxes for collecting the same.
ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will raise and' appropriate one hundred and fifty dollars towards defraying the expense of Memorial Day.
ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will authorize the appoint- ment of a committee to take into consideration the necessity for a suitable Armory and drill hall for the use of Co. M, 6th Regt., M. V. M., with the requirements and cost of the same, and to make a report with their recommendations to a future meeting, or take any other action in regard to an Armory.
ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will appoint the Selectmen to take charge and control of all legal proceedings in which the Town shall be interested.
ARTICLE 11. To see if the Town will grant the free use of the Town Hall one night in each week in the interest of temper- ance and labor.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will widen Water street to its original bounds, extend a sidewalk and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 13. To see if the Town will build a sidewalk on the westerly side of Main street from Thayer street to the Hope- dale line, and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will case up the stairway and put in steam heat in the house at the Poor Farm, and furnish fire extinguishers, and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will allow the Fire Depart- ment the use of the Witherell horses (so called) on the Hook & Ladder truck for fire purposes, or take any action in regard to same.
ARTICLE 16. To see if the Town will locate an electric light at the corner of the Medway and Holliston roads, or take any action in relation to the same.
ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to build an addi- tional stairway from the second to the third story of Memorial Building, appropriate money for the same, or take any action in regard to providing additional means of entrance and exit in case of public meetings or of fire.

ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to grade East street, and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will authorize the Board of Selectmen to lay out and grade Central street from a point near electric car station to a point at corner of stone wall about sixteen rods east of house now occupied by William C. Gillman, and appropriate money for the same, or take any action in regard to widening and grading said portion of Central street.
ARTICLE 20. To see if the Town will accept Park street as now laid out, or take any action in regard to the same.
ARTICLE 21. To see if the Town will appoint an attorney to protect the interest of the Town in the matter of the disposi- tion of its sewage, or take any other action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 22. To see if the Town will accept Bakers slip as a Town way as it is now laid out.
ARTICLE 23. To see if the Town will accept Taylor street as laid out by the Selectmen, and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will accept the gravel pit on Cedar street as laid out, and appropriate money for same.
And you are hereby directed to serve this Warrant by post- ing up attested copies thereof at each of the Public Meeting Houses and at the Post-Office in said Town; also cause an at- tested copy to be published in the Milford Daily News, Milford Daily Journal, Milford Gazette and Milford Times, newspapers printed in said Town, two Sabbaths at least before the time set for said meeting.
Hereof fail not, and make due return of this Warrant with your doings thereon, to the Clerk of said Town, at the time of meeting aforesaid.
