D., 1901, punctually at six o'clock in the forenoon, to act upon the following articles, namely :--
[The Polls may be closed at four o'clock in the afternoon on said day of meeting.]
ARTICLE 1. To choose a moderator to preside at said meeting.
ARTICLE 2. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the year ensuing: A Town Clerk, Town Treasurer, Tax Col- lector, Auditor, Three Selectmen, Three Assessors, Three Overseers of the Poor, Two Members of the School Com- mittee, Two Trustees of Public Library, One Member of the Board of Health, (three years.) Two Trustees of Vernon Grove Cemetery, and Fifteen Constables; to be voted for on ballots prepared and furnished in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 548 of the Acts of 1898; also upon said ballots the voters will give in their votes "Yes" or "No" in answer to the question, "Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town?"
ARTICLE 3. To hear and act upon the reports of the Selectmen, School Committee, Overseers of the Poor, Treasurer Engineers of Fire Department, Tax Collector, Trustees of

Vernon Grove Cemetery, Trustees of Public Library, and any other Officers and Committees of said Town.
ARTICLE 4. To raise and appropriate such sum or sums of money as may be necessary to defray Town expenses for the year ensuing.
ARTICLE 5. To see what action the Town will take in regard to lighting its streets, and raise and appropriate money for the same.
ARTICLE 6. To see if the Town will authorize the Treas- urer to borrow money in anticipation of the Taxes of the current year.
ARTICLE 7. To determine when all Taxes shall be collected and paid into the Treasury the year ensuing, and to fix the compensation of the Collector of Taxes for collecting the same.
ARTICLE 8. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate one hundred and fifty dollars towards defraying the expenses of Memorial Day.
ARTICLE 9. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to take charge of all legal proceedings for or against the Town.
ARTICLE 10. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate the sum of three hundred dollars for the transplanting and care of shade trees to be expended under the direction of the Tree W arden.
ARTICLE 11. To see if the Town will authorize the Selectmen to lease the Court Room for a term of five years.
ARTICLE 12. To see if the Town will grant the free use of the Town Hall one night in each week in the interest of temperance and labor.
ARTICLE 13. To see if the Town will appropriate money for a fire alarm box to be located near the Draper property on Water street.
ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will grant the Milford Poultry association the use of the Town Hall the sccond week in December in each year, for the expense of heating and lighting.

ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will grant the free use of the Town Hall to any religious or charitable society.
ARTICLE 16. To see if the Town will vote to purchase seventy bound copies of the Town History, or take any action in relation to the same.
ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to construct a sewer on School street, from the new High school, to connect with the Main street sewer, raise and appropriate money there- for, or take any action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will raise and appropri- ate money for a chemical combination wagon for the fire de- partment, or take any action in relation to the same.
ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will raise and appropri- ate money for a fire alarm box, to be located near the Milford Pink Granite works on East Main street.
ARTICLE 20. To see if the Town will raise and appropri- ate two hundred dollars to build a gravel sidewalk on the west- erly side of Grant street, from Walnut street to the terminus of said street, or take any action in relation to the same.
ARLICLE 21. To see if the Town will vote to insure the Town property against loss by fire.
ARTICLE 22. To see if the Town will vote to straighten the Charles River from a point about thirty rods below Central street; raise and appropriate five hundred dollars for the same.
ARTICLE 23. To see if the Town will vote to establish a paid police force, or take any action in relation to the same.
ARTICLE 24. To see if the Town will authorize the Assessors to prepare a new Valuation list and print the same for distrib- ution, and appropriate the sum of four hundred dollars for the same.
ARTICLE 25. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of Alden street (so- called.)
ARTICLE 26. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of Edward street (so-called), raise and appropriate money therefor, or take any action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 27. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of John street se-called), raise and appropriate money therefor, or take any action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 28. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of the private way known as Bragg slip; extending from Jefferson street in a southerly direction to South Bow street, raise and appropriate money therefor or take any action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 29. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of the private way known as Prentice avenue, extending from Spruce street to State street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or take action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 30. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of the private way known as Genoa avenue, extending from Cedar street five hun- dred and forty-two feet in a westerly direction, raise and appro- priate money therefor, or take action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 31. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of the private way known as Columbus avenue, extending from Cedar streer, five hundred and forty-two feet in a westerly direction, raise and ap- propriate money therefor, or take any action in relation thoreto
ARTICLE 32. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of the private way, known as South Cedar street, extending from Depot street in a southwesterly direction to the land of New York, New Haven & Hartford R. R. company, raise and appropriate money there- for, or take any action in relation thereto.
ARTICLE 33. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectmen on the laying out of a town way from Main street, opposite Adin street in a southeasterly direction to the boundary line between Milford and Hopedale.
ARTICLE 34. To see if the Town will accept and allow the report of the Selectman on the laying out of the extension of Church street, raise and appropriate money therefor, or take any action in relation thereto:
