MEMORIAL HALL INSURANCE.

The insurance policies on Memorial Hall expire this spring, and we would recommend the sum of three hundred dollars in order to have them renewed for three years more. We think it good policy to keep this building insured.

TOWN HALL.

Owing to the leaky condition of the roof of the town house building your board would recommend the appropria- tion of $1200 for the purpose of re-covering the same.

GYPSY AND BROWN TAIL MOTHS.

As the state requires that we should take steps to protect ourselves against the inroads of the gypsy and brown tail moths that have already done much damage in our town, we recommend an appropriation of five hundred dollars to be used to fight this plague. We also call the attention of the citi- zens to the damage done on trees by the elm beetle. During the past year the town purchased a spraying machine which has done good service in fighting the last-named pest.

In conclusion, we wish to state that we have given the town our best efforts, and wish to thank all the departments and citizens for courtesies received.

J. A. MCKENZIE, M. S. McMAHON, M. J. CARBARY,

Selectmen of Milford.
