During the past year the Almshouse establishment has been presented with a nice organ by the ladies of the Epis- copal Society and others, and religious services have been

held weekly the past Winter, at which, and at other times, a lady has kindly volunteered to play the organ, which has been a source of much enjoyment to the inmates.


All of which is respectfully submitted.

TOWN MEETINGS.


Copy of articles in Warrant for annual Town meeting to be held March 7, 1992, at 10 o'clock, A. M .:


ARTICLE 1. To choose a Moderator.


ART. 2. To choose all necessary Town officers.


ART. 3. To hear the annual reports of the several Town officers and act thereon.


ART. 4. Will the Town grant licenses for the sale of in- toxicating liquors for the ensuing year?


ART. 5. To raise and appropriate such sums of money as will be necessary to defray Town charges.


ART. 6. To revise and accept the lists of jurors.


ART. 7. Will the Town appropriate fifty dollars to be ex- pended under the direction of William Wadsworth Post, No. 165, G. A. R. ?


ART. 8. Will the Town authorize their Treasurer to hire money in anticipation of taxes ?


ART. 9. Will the Town reconsider the vote whereby they voted to accept Becket as their school for truant children, and substitute Walpole therefor ?


ART. 10. Will the Town authorize the purchase of a new hearse ?


ART. 11. Will the Town take any action in regard to establishing a Town office contiguous to the fire proof vault.

At the annual Town meeting, held March 2, 1891,


Edmund H. Sears was chosen Moderator.


Levi P. Simmons, Elbridge H. Chandler and William S. Frazar were appointed Tellers, and sworn by Town Clerk.


Chose, George H. Stearns, Town Clerk.


Chose, Samuel P. Soule, Joshua W. Swift and Henry H. Lewis as Selectmen, also to serve as Assessors and Over- seers of the Poor.


Chose, Joshua W. Swift, Treasurer and Collector, com- pensation to be the same as last year.
