Voted, That the compensation for labor on the highway shall be twenty cents per hour for a man, twenty cents per hour for a horse, and twenty-five cents per hour for remov- ing snow.


Voted, That the several Road Commissioners be so in- structed that they shall notify every male taxpayer to work on the highway.


Voted, That on and after this date, March 7, 1892, the' Road Commissioners shall not expend an amount to exceed one hundred dollars for work done by themselves, and an amount not to exceed fifty dollars to any one individual for labor.

Voted, That the "truant" by-laws be amended by the sub- stitution of Walpole in place of Becket.


Voted, That the Selectmen procure a room at the Public Library, if they can, for use of Town Officers.


Voted, That the Town instruct and authorize the Trustees of the Duxbury Free Library to receive from the executor of the late Henry W. Hathaway estate the three thousand dollars ($3,000) given to the Town for the purpose of pur- chasing books for the use of the inhabitants of said Town, and to appropriate the same for the purpose named in his will.


.. Voted, To accept of the legacies, and in doing so comply with the provisions of the will, of the late Henry W. Hatha- way.


Voted, That the matter of furnishing wood for the several districts be sold to the lowest bidder, each district separately ; quality and quantity to be decided by the School Committee ; said wood to be sawed and housed.


Voted, That the catching of eels by trap or weir be pro- hibited.


Voted, That the matter relating to bridge near the land of Proctor Chandler be left in the hands of the Road Commis- sioners.


Voted, That the Selectmen be requested to employ Mr. Huiginn to prepare such a portion of the records to be pub- lished as he shall deem fit, according to the vote of last year.
