Article 22. To see if the Town will make an appro- priation under the provisions of law authorizing the assess- ment of betterments, for the original construction of public ways in the Town, the laying out of which is accepted at this meeting, including land damages and the cost of pavement and sidewalks laid at the time of said con- struction; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any action relating thereto.

To see if the Town will authorize the acquisition by purchase, eminent domain or otherwise, of any land, easements or rights therein, including an easement or easements in land adjoining the location of any or all public ways, the laying out of which is accepted at this meeting, consisting of a right to have the land of the location protected by having the surface of such adjoining land slope from the boundary of the location; make an appropriation for such acquisition; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any action relating thereto.

Article 28. To see if the Town will accept the deed of William H. Richardson to the Town dated December 14, 1935 and recorded with Middlesex So. Dist. Deeds on December 20, 1935, book 5994, page 160, relating to premises bounded southeasterly by Robbins Road seventy- five (75) feet, and containing about 9422 square feet, being lot No. 14 on a plan drawn by F. R. Page, C. E., dated September 1897 and recorded with said deeds as File Plan 167, subject to any takings of rights or easements therein on behalf of the Town; or take any action relating to said deed.
Article 29. To see if the Town will sell, convey or otherwise dispose of the two parcels of land hereinafter described, which are now parts of the public parks within the town; will make an appropriation for the purpose, determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any action relating thereto.
Said parcels are situated in said town, are shown on a plan entitled "Town of Arlington, Mass. Plan Showing Park Land Proposed To Be Transferred Scale 1" =40', Jan. 7, 1936 James M. Keane Town Engineer," on file in the office of the Town Engineer, and are bounded and described as follows:
