Article 24. To see if the Town will authorize the acquisi- tion by purchase, eminent domain or otherwise, of any land, easements or rights therein, including an easement or ease- ments in land adjoining the location of any or all public ways, the laying out of which is accepted at this meeting, consisting of a right to have the land of the location protected by having the surface of such adjoining land slope from the boundary of the location; make an appropriation for such acquisition ; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and ex- pended ; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 25. To see if the Town will accept the establish- ment of exterior lines of a way from Hibbert Street easterly approximately 160 feet, in the location shown upon the plan hereinafter mentioned, as made and filed in the office of the Town Clerk by the Joint Board of Selectmen and Board of Public Works; make an appropriation therefor including dam- ages ; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended ; or take any action relating thereto.

To see if the Town will make an appropria- tion or appropriations for the relocation, alteration and widen- ing, construction of, specific repairs upon and improvement of all or any part of the ways within the town as now existing or hereafter relocated, altered or widened, including land dam- ages, if any, under the provisions of law authorizing the assess- ment of betterments or otherwise; said appropriations to be used with a sum or sums allotted by the Commonwealth or County or both for this purpose; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended ; or take any action in any way relating to all or any of the foregoing.
Article 27. To see if the Town will make an appropriation or appropriations to pay the claims or charges of Symmes Ar- lington Hospital, including such claims and charges for aid,

relief or care furnished prior to January 1, 1938, to persons falling into distress and standing in need of immediate relief ; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and ex- pended; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 28. To see if the Town will make an appropria- tion for the purchase of a truck for the use of the Gypsy and Brown Tail Moth Department; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any action re- lating thereto.
Article 29. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of thirty-two hundred (3200) dollars or any other sum for the purchase of a combination police wagon and ambulance, or other apparatus for the use of the Police Department; de- termine in what manner the money shall be raised and ex- pended ; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 30. To see if the Town will make an appropriation for the installation of a sprinkler system or systems in the Robbins Memorial Town Hall building; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any action relating thereto.
Article 31. To see if the Town will make an appropriation or appropriations for Works Progress Administration projects and for the employment of the poor; determine in what man- ner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any ac- tion relating thereto.
Article 32. To see if the Town will name the new branch library at Arlington Heights, the "Vittoria C. Dahlin Branch Library" or will take any other action relative to the naming of said branch library.

Said parcel is a portion of the land known as Lots marked 70 and 71 on the Assessor's Plan of Arlington dated 1931, Block Plan No. 159 which land is substantially described as follows : beginning at the point of intersection of the westerly side line of Wachusett Avenue and the southerly side line of Florence Avenue; thence westerly on said southerly side line of Florence Avenue 200.35 feet to Waverly Street; thence southerly along Waverly Street 71.8'; thence northeasterly across the northerly lines of Lots 70 and 71 on said map afore- said to the westerly side line of Wachusett Avenue about 209'; thence northerly by said westerly side line of Wachusett Ave- nue 4.15' to the point of beginning; containing 7,594 sq. ft. more or less. Being a portion of the lands taken by the Town of Arlington as shown on an Acceptance plan and profile of Florence Avenue, Arlington, Massachusetts, dated April 1, 1916, George E. Ahern, Town Engineer, recorded with Mid- dlesex South District Deeds, Book No. 4139, Page 371.
Article 34. To see if the Town will appoint a committee of seven members, consisting of the Chairman of the Board of Park Commissioners ex officio, a member of the Planning Board and five other citizens of the town to be appointed by the Moderator: to be known as the Park and Playground Im- provement Committee, to investigate the Parks and Play- grounds within the Town and to report and make recommenda- tions from time for their development and improvement; will appropriate the sum of two hundred fifty (250) dollars or any other sum for the use of such committee; or will take any other action relating thereto.

Article 39. To see if the Town will construct a building or buildings to be used for the purposes of the Board of Public Works and any other town boards, officers, or committees, for use as a reclamation plant or for the disposal of rubbish
