Article 86. To see if the Town will vote to recommend any amendments to Chapter 503 of the Acts of 1952 entitled An Act Establishing A Town Manager Form of Government for the Town of Arlington, and authorize and direct the Board of Selectmen and the Town Manager to submit appropriate legislation embodying said changes to the General Court of Massachusetts; or take any action relating to any or all of the foregoing.
Article 87. To see if the Town will vote to appoint a Com- mittee of five (5) persons for the purpose of studying, investigating, considering and making recommendations for the revision of the By-Laws of the Town of Arlington; said Committee to report at the next Special Town Meeting, if any, but not later than the Annual Town Meeting of 1956; appropriate a sum of money for the use of said Committee; determine in what manner the money shall be raised and expended; or take any action relating to any or all of the foregoing.
Article 88. To see if the Town will make an appropriation to be expended under the direction of the Town Clerk, for the pur- pose of defraying the expense of advertising and other incidental costs relating to the By-Laws voted at this Town Meeting; deter- mine in what manner the money shall be raised; or take any action relating thereto.

Article 90. To see if the Town will amend its Zoning By-Law by altering the zoning map therin referred to so as to include in the Industrial District all or any part of the area now included in the Residence B District and bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the southwesterly end of the boundary line between lots 25 and 26, said point being 185 feet easterly of the easterly side line of Mystic Street, thence northeasterly on the bound- ary line between lots 25 and 26 a distance of 98.8 feet to the westerly side line of Garden Street, thence southeasterly along the westerly side line of Garden Street a distance of 12.8 feet to the southeasterly boundary line of lot 25, thence southwesterly along the southeasterly boundary line of Lot 25 a distance of 99.38 feet to the southwesterly boundary line of Lot 25, thence northwesterly along the south- westerly boundary line of Lot 25 a distance of 70 feet, thence turning and running northeasterly along the boundary line of Lot 25 a distance of seven feet more or less to the point of be- ginning.

To see if the Town will amend its zoning by-laws by altering the zoning map therein referred to so as to include in the Residence C District all or any part of the area now included in the Residence B District, on a portion of land in the rear of a lot on Massachusetts Avenue, as shown on Assessors' Block Plan 165-E-9, between Daniels Street and Richardson Avenue, bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at the point southwesterly of the intersection of the corner of lot 6A and lot three thence running northeasterly by lot 6A a distance of fifty feet to the sideline of lot seven and part eight, thence along the sideline of lot seven and part eight a distance of sixty one feet plus or minus thence turning and going southwesterly a distance of fifty feet to a point on the sideline of lot one thence along the sideline of lot one and three southeasterly a distance of sixty one feet plus or minus to the point of beginning containing 3050 sq. feet plus or minus.

Article 97. To see if the Town will authorize taking a sum of money voted for the appropriations heretofore made at this Town Meeting under this Warrant, and not voted to be borrowed, from any available funds in the treasury and will authorize the Assessors to use free cash in the treasury in any available funds to an amount not exceeding $350,000.00, in the determination of the 1955 tax rate.
And you will notify and warn the voters of the Town of Arling- ton to meet at the times and places herein specified by leaving at every dwelling house in the Town a printed copy of this Warrant, and also by posting a copy of the same at the doors of the Town Hall, and in a conspicuous place in each of the fourteen precincts of the Town, seven days at least before the day of said meeting for the election of officers.
Hereof, fail not, and make due return of the Warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk, before the day of said meeting.

By virtue of this warrant I have notified and warned the legal voters of the Town of Arlington to meet at the time and place and for the purposes herein specified by causing a printed attested copy of said warrant to be left at every dwelling house in the town pre- vious to the day of the meeting for the election of officers and by posting an attested copy of said warrant at the doors of the Town Hall and in two or more conspicuous places in each of the four- teen precincts of the Town, seven days at least before the day of said meeting. A notice of the times, places and objects of the meet ings was published in the local papers.

In pursuance of the foregoing Warrant, the inhabitants of the Town of Arlington, qualified to vote in elections, met in the polling places designated by the Board of Selectmen for the several precincts in said Town on Monday, March 7, 1955, at seven o'clock in the forenoon.

The persons declared elected town officers, including town meeting members, were notified as required by the General Laws.

In accordance with Section 61 of Chapter 51 of the General Laws, the return of the registered voters in the Town at the close of registration on February 15, 1955, was forwarded to the Sec- retary of the Commonwealth.
The result of the count of the votes cast at the Town Election was forwarded to the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
In accordance with Section 132 of Chapter 54 of the General Laws, the total number of voters checked on the voting lists in each precinct was forwarded to the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
