In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Boxford qualified to vote in elections and in town affairs to meet in the Town Hall, Boxford, on Thursday, the thirtieth day of November, at 8:00 o'clock in the even- ing, then and there to act on the following articles, viz : -
Article 1. To see what action the town will take with regard to the time of holding the annual town meeting.

To see if the town will vote to transfer the following amounts from various departments, viz: $600.00 from Board of Public Welfare to the Insurance account; $400.00 from Board of Public Welfare to Aid to Dependent Children; $100.00 from the Planning Board to Police; #280.00 from Old Age Assistance, $50.00 from Regional High School Committee, and $20.00 from Street Lighting to Public Welfare; $150.00 from the School Building Committee account to Veterans' Benefits; $75.00 from Vocational Education to Inspection of Slaughtering; $42.50 from Town Reports account, $90.00 from Interest on Loans, $75.00 from Vocational Education, $50.00 from Morse House and $125.00 from the Selectmen's Highway Fund to the Town Halls account.
Article 4. To consider the report of the School Building Committee and take appropriate action thereon, or to see if the town will vote to adjourn the meeting in order to consider at a future date the report of the School Building Committee and take appropriate action thereon at said future date, or take any other action relative thereto.

a special town meeting of the inhabitants of the Forum of Boxford qualified to vote in town elections and in town affairs was held in the Town Hall of Boxford on Dec. 14, 1950 at 8 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Moderator William J. Greenler, Je and a minute of silent prayer was observed. The businessof the evening was article 4 of the Warrant of Nov. 30, 1950.

That the Town approve Plan "A" of the School
Building Committee Report, modified to provide for raising and appropriating the sum of $120,000 and transferring the sums of $28,352.23 from the Town Farm Fund, $7,836.22 from the Post-War Rehabilitation Fund and $2500 from the School Building Committee for the purpose of building a central elementary school based on plans submitted by the School Building Committee in its report dated December 1, 1950 at a total cost not to exceed $160,000, subject to approval for State Aid of said plans by the State School Building Assistance Commission; and that the Selectmen be instructed to call a Special Town Meeting as soon as practicable, but not later than December 27, 1950, under a warrant suitable to provide for the voting of the necessary appropriations, transfers and bond issues to carry out the same.
The motion was defeated 75-68 on a secret ballot with use of check lists. It was voted that the selectmen be insime. to call a special town meeting not later than Dec. 27, 1950 for the purpose of acting on an arlicis. which will allow the town to vote for additions 's present school buildings, or construction of a central elementary school + legally provide for financing the Same.

a special town meeting of the inhabitants of the Town of Boxford qualified to vote in town elections and in town affaire was held in the Town Hall of Boxford on Dec. 27, 1950 at 7:45 pm. The meeting was called to order by Moderator William J. Greenter, Jr., and a minute of silent prayer was observed. Voted that the Town approve the construction of a central elementary school in accordance with plans submitted by the School Building Committee in its report dated December 1, 1950 modified to omit the general purpose room and health room as submitted in said plans, but to convert class. rooms five and six in said plans into a general purpose room, subject to approval by the State School Building Assistance Commission and at a total cost not to exceed 120,000.00.
