The voters of Boxford met at the Harry Lee Cole School on Cer 1, 1956, at 8 Pm with about 300 attending. The meeting was opened with a prayer ty Per William 0. Homer, William J. Greender Jr., served as moderator. The following business was transacted:
Article I. V ated that the report of of the Committee on Regional High School, be approved as printed in the brochure sent to each family.
article 2. Voted that the Town accept the provisions of section 16-16-1 inclusive, of Chapter 11 of the General Laws, providing for the establishment of a Regional School District together with the towns of Middleton and Topsfield, and for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a Regional School by said District, in accordance with the provisions of a proposed agreement between said towns filed with the Selectmen. article 3.

The waters of the Town of Boxford met on march of, 1957 at 8 p.m in the Harry Lee Cole School for their annual town meeting. after a brief prayer by Rev. William O. Hooves, the business meeting was conducted by William J Greenler, the moderator. The action taken was as follows :

Voted to accept the reports of the town officers and committees, as printed in the town report. Voted to adopt the budget as printed in the town report.
Voted to appropriate the sum of 1,000.00 for the maintenance of Road Machinery, said amount to be transferred from the Road Machinery Fund. Voted to appropriate 3,000.00 for the Reserve Fund, said amount to be transferred from Overlay Reserve.

Voted to authorize the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen , to barrow money from time to time, in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning Jan, 1, 1957, and to issue a note or notes therefor, paying within one year , and to renew any note or notes therefor as may be given for a period of less than one year in accordance with Section 17, Chapter 44, of the General Laws.

Voted that all town labor working 25 weeks a year or its equivalent on an 8 hour day, 5 day a week basis, be granted one week off a year with pay. shall be taken off in order to receive compensation; also , all full time help shall be granted five holidays with pay, namely Jan. I, May 30, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas . In the event that Circumstances require said labor to work on the preceding holidays , and recipient of said holiday pay shall be required to take 8 hours off at the earliest possible time after said holiday . The time of such time off shall be left in the hands of the respective department heads so that no disruption of of service will accur.

The voters of Boxford wet at the Starry Lee Cole School on Dec. 6, 1957 at 8 P.M. with about 55 voters present. after a moment of silent prayer , the meeting was conducted - by William J. Greenler, Jr., the moderator, and the following business was conducted :
