a special town meeting of the inhabitants of the Town of Boxford qualified to vote in elections and town affairs was treed in the Town Hall, Buford, at & no pm, March 25, 1954, William J. Freenter, fr, the moderator, called for a minute of silent prayer before starting the business meeting. The articles of the tarrant where acted upon as follows:

The annual town meeting of the waters of Boxford was held at the Legion Hall, West Boxford, at 8 P.M. with , March 7, 1955 with William J Gelenler, Jr. presiding as moderator. a short prayer was offered by Rev. William O. Hoover before the business meeting began. The following action was taken:

Voted to accept the reports of the town officers and committees as contained in the town report. The Committee appointed at the last special town meeting to make recommendations regarding recodification and revision of the town by-laws, excluding the zoning by law + building code, reported no drastic revision is necessary , and it would not be considered warranted to undertake the expense of a general revision or if a premature printing at this time. The committee recommended it be continued to make further recommendations at such time as they deemed advisable in the future.
Voted to accept the suggested budget is amendea .
Voted to appropriate the sum of 500.00 for the maintenance of Food Machinery, said amount to be transferred from the Road Trackinery Fund.
Voted to appropriate 2,000, 00 for the Reserve Fund, said amount to be transferred from Overlay Reserve.
