ANNUAL MEETING February 6, 1928 Copy of Principal Votes
Elected : Fred F. Dill, Moderator.
William B. Higgins reported for committee on Town Dumps, that the land of Chas. N. Snow in North Eastham which is now being used as a dump, is not for sale and that Mr. Snow has asked the help of the Town in stopping future use of said land for that purpose.
Fred F. Dill reported for the committee on Town Land- ings. Very little progress has been made by the committee although several conferences have been held with the land owners. The several owners are much opposed to locating landings on the proposed sites. Some decisive action should be taken relating to a more definite boundary of the Town Landing at the Salt Pond. It was then voted to establish accurate boundaries at all Town Landings and to appropri- ate the sum of $200 for the surveying and suitable monu- ments for the same.
Voted to authorize the Selectmen, if in their opinion, it is necessary, to lay out a road to Cook's Brook to connect with the Massoit Road.
Mr. Arthur W. Parnell reported for the committee re- lating to Town Forests, nothing in a definite way had been done, he also reported the proposition of the State and the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce to supply trees free for this purpose up to a certain amount.
