To Harvey T. Moore, Constable of the Town of Eastham, in said County, Greeting :


In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town, qualified to vote in elections and Town affairs, to meet in the Town Hall of said Eastham, On Monday, Feb- ruary 4, 1924, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act upon the following articles, viz :


Article 1. To choose a moderator to act at said meet- Ing.


Article 2. To hear the report of the Selectmen, and all reports and committees and act thereon.


Article 3. Shall license be granted for the sale of cer- tain non-intoxicating beverages in this Town?


Article 4. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the ensuing year.

Article 5. To fix the rate for the collection of taxes assessed for the year 1924.


Article 6. To see what sum of money the Town will raise for the Public Library and make appropriation for the same.


Article 7. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray Town charges for the ensuing year, and make appropriations for the same.


Article 8. To see in what manner the Town will dis- pose of its Refunded Dog Tax, and act thereon.


Article 9. To see in what manner the Town will sup- port its Poor for the ensuing year.


Article 10. To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of $1,950.00, provided the State makes a satisfactory allotment for the upkeep and maintenance of town roads under Act 81, Section 26 -- 29 G. L., as amended.


Article 11. To see in what manner the Town will re- pair its roads and bridges and appropriate money for the same.


Article 12 To see if the Town will give the Collector of Taxes the same power the Treasurer has when Collector ?


Article 13. To see if the Town will authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money in anticipation of revenue of the municipal year, beginning January 1, 1924, to an amount not to exceed $7,000.00.


Article 14. To see what sum of money the Town will appropriate for the suppression of the Gypsy and Brown Tail Moth.

Article 15. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate a sum of money for the use of the Cape Cod Farm Bureau, and elect a Director, as authorized by Sec. 41-45, Chap. 128, Vol. I, Pages 1107-1108, Massachusetts General Laws relating to Agriculture.


Article 16. To see what action the Town will take re- garding the wages of laborers, teams and trucks on Town work for the ensuing year, or do or act anything thereon.


Article 17. To see if the Town will vote to make an appropriation for Memorial Day.


Article 18. To see what action the Town will take re- garding the Herring Brook, or do or act anything thereon.


Article 19. To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for the use of the Orleans Fire Department when called to Eastham building fires, or do or act 'hereon.


Article 20. / To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for the purpose of building new guard fences on the approaches of Boat Meadow Bridge, or do or act any- thing thereon.


Article 21. To see if the Town will vote to increase the salaries of the Town Officers.


Article 22. To see if the Town will vote to petition for the installation of an accounting system by the Com- monwealth, Chap. 516, Acts 1922.


Article 23. To see if the Town will vote to pay a bounty on Crows and Hawks from April 1, to August 1, 1924, and appropriate a sum of money for the same.


Article 24. To see if the Town will vote to carry a liability insurance on its Town Laborers, appropriate a sum of money for the same, or do or act anything thereon.
