Article 21. What action, if any, will the town take in connection with the legacy set forth in the will of Leaffie B. Curtis Miller for the erection of a new High School Building in Norwell.
Voted that the Town of Norwell now having a suitable High School building does not accept the legacy under the will of Leaffie B. Curtis Miller and it was further voted that the inhabitants of the town of Norwell in town meet- ing assembled wish to place upon record their deep appreci- ation of the generous gift from Leaffie B. Curtis Miller and her interest in the school children of the Town and her provision for their educational advancement. The schol- arship provided for by her will be a perpetual monument to her memory and a constant incentive for earnest endeavor and better scholarship.
Article 22. Will the town give any instructions to town officers ?
Voted that the Selectmen be instructed that as soon as conditions justify doing so, that the free use of District No. 2 School House be given the Local Post of the Ameri- can Legion.
Voted that the Selectmen be authorized to proceed forth- with to acquire title to the District No. 2 School House Lot at a cost not to exceed three hundred dollars.

Voted that the sum paid for rental this year be paid in the same manner as in the past.
Voted that the Selectmen be instructed to confer with the County Commissioners in regard to establishing lines on Bridge and Main streets.
Voted that the Selectmen be instructed to forthwith dis- mantle the stone crusher. Sell the iron on the best possible terms and clean up the rubbish.
Article 23. Will the town authorize the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow money on and af- ter January 1, 1928, in anticipation of the revenue of the financial year beginning January 1, 1928, and to issue a note or notes therefor, payable within one year. Any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the rev- enue of the financial year, beginning January 1, 1928?

To bring in their votes for a Town Clerk for one year; one Selectman, one Assessor, and one Over- seer of the Poor for three years; a Treasurer, a Collector of Taxes, an Auditor, a Surveyor of Highways, five Consta- bles and a Tree Warden for one year; one member of the School Committee for three years; one member of the Board of Health for three years; one Trustee for the Ridge Hill Library for three years.
Pursuant to the above, the qualifed voters met at the Town Hall, March 14, 1927 at 6. A. M. John Whalen acted as presiding election officers. The officers on duty were : William J. Leonard, Clifton S. Deane, Amos H. Til- den, Carlton O. Litchfield and Alice C. Merritt. Polls clos- ed at eleven A. M. The number of names checked agreed
