Dr. Fuller. of the Washington avenue Christian church. To-morrow night Mr. and Mrs. McNeely leave for San Bernardino. Cal., their future home. Both the bride and groom have boste of friends in Springfield, who wish them many years of happiness and prosperity.

Frisco Kugiweer Berten Reports for Duty on the Other Side.
The people of Joplin, says the News of that piace. were not a little shocked yesterday afternoon late by the news that Willlam Berton, the well known Frisco engineer, was dead.
"Old Bill," as he was familiarly called by the boys, was known by a! moat every employe of the Frisco road. and had been in the employ of that company since the latter part of 1882. He was one of the most careful en- gineers on the road, and in consequenco seldom had an socident to report. Ile wus of a friendly disposition and was well liked by all who made his so- quaintance.
Deceased was born in Ireland in 183] and came to America in 1851. He had resided in Joplin near twenty years.
