Clean Secretary, a tour of inspection of fire houses was made by the full Committee and in addition to the Committee Chief Ryan of north Chebustina Heft. several fire houses were viewed , your committee decided a fire house in Billerica Centre came the nearest to fulfilling the requirements of north Clubmefind, several architects were invited to submit plans and specifications but only one responded, h albert mac Naughton. of Arlington who furnished plane and specifications for the Billinca Fire House, your Committee recieved bid- from six different contractors, the licks ranged from "24875.00 for two story and $21400.00 for one story without heat to $13900.0, two story, 11 600.00 one stry complete, you will note in article #34 that an appropriation of $19000.00 is asked for . This was necessary because we did not have any official bids to go by, all we had was an estimate .
