We hereby tender our resignation as Assessors of the Town of Dedham for the ensuing year, said resignations to take effect March 2, 1891.

COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS.
NORFOLK, SS. To either of the Constables of the Town of Ded- ham, in said County, Greeting :
You are hereby required, in the name of the Commonwealth aforesaid, to notity and warn the inhabitants of said Town of Dedham, qualified to vote in town affairs, to assemble at Memo- rial Hall, in said town, on the first Monday in March (being the second day of said month), A. D. 1891, at seven o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to act on the following articles, viz .:
Article One-To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
Article Two-To choose all necessary Town Officers. The following are to be chosen by ballot, under the provisions of Chap. 386 of the Acts of 1890, viz .: One Town Clerk, one Town Treasurer, one Collector of Taxes, three Selectmen, three Sur- veyors of Highways, three Assessors, one Overseer of the Poor, three members of Board of Health, three Auditors, nine Consta- bles, all for one year; two School Committee for three years ; two

School Committee for one year; three Trustees of the Public Library for three years ; one Trustee of the Public Library for two years. And also upon the same ballot to vote upon the question : Shall license be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in the town ? All town officers except as above named are to be chosen for one year.
Article Three-To hear and act on the report of the Audi - tors of the Treasurer's and Collector's account.
Article Four-To see if the Town will accept the list of Jurors, as prepared by the Selectmen, and posted according to law.
Article Five-To see if the Town will authorize the Collector of Taxes to use the same means as Town Treasurer may use when acting as collector.

Article Thirty-One-To see if the Town will vote to cause a hydrant to be set on Whiting avenue, East Dedham, as recom- mended by the Board of Engineers, and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article Thirty-Two-To see if the Town will vote to purchase a Hose Wagon, to be located in East Dedham, in house of Niagara, No. 3, as recommended by the Board of Engineers, and saise and appropriate money for the same.
Article Thirty-Three-To see if the Town will adopt the pro- visions of Chapter 58 of the Public Statutes, empowering Select- men of towns to appoint one or more persons to be inspectors of provisions and of animals intended for slaughter.
Article Thirty-Four-To see if the Town will adopt certain amendments, made by the Cemetery Commissioners, to the rules and regulations respecting the conveyance of the burial lots in Brookdale Cemetery.
Article Thirty-Five-To see what action the Town will take with regard to determining the number and terms of Town Offi- cers to be chosen by ballot at future elections.

Article Thirty-Seven -- To see if the Town will vote to au- thorize the Selectmen to instruct the Superintendent of Streets to pay men employed upon the highways two dollars per day, and that nine hours constitute a day's work.
Article Thirty-Eight-To see what action the town will take in regard to replacing one or more of the Lowry Hydrants of the Dedham Water Co. with Post Hydrants, or the discontinuance of one or more of the same, as recommended by the Board of Fire Engineers, and raise and appropriate money for the same.
Article Thirty-Nine-To see what action the Town will take with reference to the compensation of the Collector of Taxes, as provided in Section 6, Article 3, of the Town By-Laws.
Article Forty-To see if the Town will vote to repeal Section One of the Town By-Laws, of Town Meetings and rules for gov- ernment thereof ; of the By-Laws relating to the appointment of a Committee of Twenty-One, who have heretofore had power in the recommendation of remaining articles in the town meeting warrant after the election of town officers.
Article Forty-one-To see if the Town will amend its By- Laws with regard to Truancy.
By-Laws of the Town require the Polls to be open at seven o'clock, and remain open till thirty minutes past four in the afternoon.
Hereof fail not, but make return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, unto the Selectmen, on or before said day and time.

The meeting was called to order at the time and place named in said warrant, by the Town Clerk, who presided at the choice of Moderator.
