TOWN CLERK'S REPORT


To the Citizens of the Town of Douglas:


Following is the Annual Town Clerk's Report:


VOTES PASSED BY THE TOWN SINCE THE ANNUAL 1947 TOWN MEETING


Special Town Meeting-June 27, 1947


ARTICLE 1. The town voted that the action on Article 3 at the regular town meeting be reconsidered and that the amount be made to read six hundred dollars ($600.00) instead of fifteen hundred dol- lars ($1,500.00).


ARTICLE 2. The town voted that the sum of nine hundred dol- lars ($900.00) be raised and appropriated to meet the town's share of the cost of Chapter 90 Highway Construction and that in addition the sum of twenty seven hundred dollars ($2,700.00) be transferred from. unappropriated available funds in the treasury to meet the State and County's share of the cost of the work. The Reimburse- ments from the State and County to be restored upon their receipt, to unappropriated available funds in the Treasury.
