Westborough, Dec 2, 1896, In pursuance with the foregoing Warrant the Inhabitants of the town met and at Seven and one half oclock P.M. were called to order by the Town Clerk, who proceeded to read the Warrant and under

Article 2 B. I Hathaway for the Committee to whom article 20, in the Warrant of the annual Meeting held March 2, adjourned to March 16, was referred read the report. as follows,
The Committee appointed by the Town at the adjourned town meeting March 16.1896, consisting of three persons appointed by the Moderator and the Sewer Commissioners, to investigate the subject of sewage disposal that injury may not result to the public health, or to owners of land on or near the assabet River, would report as follows. The Committee first paid a visit to the sewer beds early in April, when in all prot ability the flow of sewage was as large in volume, as at any other time of the year. On April 29th, 1896, notice having been previously sent, the committee gave a hearing to partier owning land or near the tosabit hiver, which was attended by eight land owners and lasted two hours. The latter part of August, a time when the volume of sewage being discharged, un probably as low as at any other time dur's the year was taken by the committee another visit to the sewer Reds. At the time they also visited the Assabit River at Willow Bridge, Gott's Bridge and the
