Public Buildings.
The interior of both of the Public Library Building and the Town Hall have been badly defaced because of defective construction, which has caused leakages in the roof of both buildings.
36
During the past year extensive repairs have been made, and it is probable that these leaks have been permanently repaired. The interior of both buildings needs to be re-decorated and otherwise improved.
We recommend that the Town appropriate the sum of $1,000 for this work. Neither building has received any large outlay of money for interior repairs for a number of years.
CHARLES S. SMITH, EDWARD F. FLINT, ANTHONY J. DOHERTY,
Selectmen of Lincoln.

Auditor's Report.
I have examined the accounts of the Town Treasurer and the Treasurers of the Public Library, the Bemis Lecture Fund, the Sinking and Trust Fund and the Lincoln Ceme- tery and find them to be correct in detail and properly vouched.
I find the funds of the Town to be invested in good securities and the proper certificates in the hands of the different trustees.
THOMAS L. GILES, Auditor.
