Hon. C. F. Adams, Rev. J. DeNormandie, Mrs. H. J. Richardson, Mrs. B. D. Sweet, Mrs. S. Hartwell, Mr. A. E. Brown, Mr. F. M. Holland, Rev. C. S. Hartwell, Mr. G. H. Smyth, Mr. T. W. Lawson and the Secretary of the Commonwealth ; also bulletins and reports have been received from various Libraries and other Public Institutions.

We have regretted our inability during the past year to bring to the attention of the pupils in the public schools and other visitors to the Library, the collection of photographs (mostly of the paintings of the old Italian masters) purchased last year, for our Library, and still awaiting permanent arrangement in a suitable cabinet. We trust this need will be soon met, and that the photographs properly arranged and catalogued, may be brought to the notice of all interested in them.
