Voted: That the sum of $250. be appropriated to indemni- fy former Chief of Police R. L. Mansfield for expenses in- curred by him in defense of certain actions of tort brought against him for certain acts and arrests made by him in the performance of his duty. 8:29 P. M.

ARTICLE 6.


Voted : that the sum of $5,276.86 be and it is hereby ap- propriated for the care, maintenance and repairs of the Essex County Tuberculosis Hospital, being the sum assessed upon the Town of Saugus by the County Commissioners for this purpose. 8:32 P. M.


Voted: to place Article 3, 4 and 5 at the end of the war- rant. Yeas 114.
