Said appropriation is to be used in conjuction with an appro- priation made available for the same purpose by the Town of Carver.

Mr. Spencer Brewster moved that the Town authorize the Water Commissioners to lay a ten-inch (10") water main in Sandwich Road beginning at the intersection of Sand- wich Road and Clifford Road, known as Four Corners, thence running southeasterly for a distance of approximately 3,100 feet, including six fire hydrants and appurtenances and make an appropriation of $19,500, therefor. $3,000 to be con- tributed by the abutters. Taken by a show of hands, 60 in the affirmative and 67 in the negative, the motion to amend was lost.
At 6:00 o'clock P.M. Mr. Philip Tinti moved to adjourn until 7:30 o'clock P.M., Monday, March 29, 1965, and it was so voted.

Adjourned Town Meeting, March 29, 1965
The meeting was called to order by the Moderator at 7:30 o'clock P.M. The number of Town Meeting Members present was 172 as per records of checkers, Robert Marvelli and Arsene Strassel, 2nd; the Moderator declared a quorum present.
Report of the Committee appointed by the Moderator in 1962 to look into the feasibility of establishing a play- ground in the Cedarville area, Article 36, was presented. Mr. Peter F. Costello, Chairman of this Committee, moved that the Cedarville Playground Committee be extended until the next Annual Town Meeting, and it was so voted.
Mr. Herbert Parkhurst moved that there be no time limit on speakers, but the motion was lost.
Mr. Peter Billey moved to reconsider Article 34 and it was so voted.
Article 34 continued
Mr. Billey moved that the Town authorize the Water Commissioners to lay a ten-inch (10") water main in Sand- wich Road beginning at the intersection of Sandwich Road and Clifford Road known as the Four Corners, thence run- ning southeasterly for a distance of approximately 3,100 feet including fire hydrants and appurtenances and make an appropriation of $19,500 therefor and to meet this appro- priation, by appropriating $9,500 from Free Cash in the Town Treasury, and to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow $10,000 in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 44 of the General Laws, as amended.
Voting by a show of hands, 83 in the affirmative, 59 in the negative, not being a two-thirds vote, the motion was lost.
ARTICLE 28. To see if the Town will vote to accept Section 6H of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, an Act provid-

ing that a Town may make repairs on private ways which have been open to the public use for six years or more.

Mr. Freeman moved that a study committee of five (5) persons be appointed; two (2) of whom shall be appointed by and from the Board of Selectmen; two (2) by and from the Advisory and Finance Committee, and one (1) by and from the Planning Board; said committee to study the advis- ability of the Town's accepting permissive legislation Sec- tions 6E through 6I of Chapter 40 of the General Laws and report its findings to the Board of Selectmen, the Advisory and Finance Committee and the Planning Board, not later than November 1, 1965.
Mr. Thomas Doherty moved that the Town vote to ac- cept Section 6H of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, an Act providing that a Town may make repairs on private ways which have been open to the public use for six years or more, but the motion was lost.
The original motion was put before the Meeting and carried.
ARTICLE 29. To see if the Town will accept Section 6I of Chapter 40 of the General Laws, an Act providing that a Town may construct, reconstruct, resurface and repair any private way which has been used by the public for fifty years or more.

To see if the Town will vote to create a special unpaid committee to be known as the Regional Voca- tional School District Planning Committee to consist of three members, including one member of the School Committee, all to be appointed by the Moderator which committee may join with a comparable committee or committees from one or more neighboring towns for the purpose of studying the advisability of establishing a Regional Vocational School Dis- trict and make recommendations relative thereto, said com- mittee to report not later than the next annual town meeting.
Regional Vocational School District Planning Committee - Recommendation to be made at Town Meeting.
Voted: That the Town authorize the Moderator to ap- point a committee of five persons, including one member of the Plymouth School Committee, to study the advisability

of establishing a regional or local vocational school this committee to meet with similar committees from one or more neighboring towns, the committee to include in its report, which is to be filed with the Town Clerk on or before December 1, 1965, estimates for constructing, main- taining and operating such a school, both on a regional and on a local basis.
ARTICLE 35. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Water Commissioners to lay an eight-inch (8") water main in Brook Road, Manomet, beginning at the State High- way, Route 3A and running along Brook Road in a north- westerly direction for a distance of 1,800 feet approximately, to land of Kenneth Peck, and make an appropriation of $14,000, therefor.
Brook Road water construction - Approved.
Mr. Freeman moved that no action be taken on Article 35.
Mr. Peter Billey moved that the Town authorize the Water Commissioners to lay an eight-inch (8") water main in Brook Road, Manomet, beginning at the State Highway, Route 3A, and running along Brook Road in a northerly and westerly direction for a distance of 1,800 feet approxi- mately to land of Kenneth Peck and make an appropriation of $14,000 therefor and to provide this money by appro- priating $4,000 from Free Cash in the Town Treasury and to authorize the Town Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow $10,000 in accordance with the provi- sions of Chapter 44 of the General Laws, as amended. It was so voted, unanimously.
ARTICLE 36. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Water Commissioners to lay a twelve-inch (12") water main in South Meadow Road beginning at the intersection of Federal Furnace Road and Seven Hills Road, thence run- ning in a southerly direction for a distance of 2,000 feet ap- proximately, and make an appropriation of $17,000, therefor.
