ARTICLE 4 .- To see what action the Town will take in regard to the use of the Almshouse.
Voted, that the Selectmen be authorized to rent the Town Farm.

ARTICLE 5 .- To see what method the Town will adopt for the support of the poor for the ensuing year.
Voted, that the care of the poor be left with the Overseers of the Poor.
ARTICLE 6 .- To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for the observance of Memorial Day.
Voted, that one hundred dollars be appropriated for Memorial Day and that an itemized account be filed with the Town Clerk.
ARTICLE 7 .- To see what action the Town will take regarding the payment of a note for three thousand dollars ($3000), maturing July 8, 1912.
Voted, that the Tax Collector be directed to collect all taxes, now unpaid, before July 1, 1912; and that the proceeds be used to pay note of three thousand dollars due July 8, 1912.
ARTICLE 8 .- To see what action the Town will take regarding the payment of two notes of one thousand dollars ($1000) each, maturing January 1, 1913 (schoolhouse loan and water loan).
Voted, that the sum of two thousand dollars be appropriated and raised by tax to pay two notes coming due January 1, 1913.
ARTICLE 9 .- To see if the Town will vote its School Com- mittee any compensation for their services.
Voted, that the School Committee be allowed two dollars and fifty cents for time actually spent in the service of the Town, provided the Committee complies with the provisions of the will of Mary A. Phelon.
ARTICLE 10 .- To see if the Town will vote to charge interest on taxes.
Voted, that all poll taxes and all taxes on personal and real estate for the current municipal year shall be due and payable

September 1, 1912, and that interest from September 1, 1912, be charged on all taxes unpaid November 1, 1912.
ARTICLE 11 .- To see if the Town will authorize its Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow during the cur- rent municipal year beginning February 1, 1912, in anticipation of the taxes for said year, such sums of money as may be neces- sary for the current expenses of the Town.
Voted, that the Town Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be and hereby is authorized to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the taxes of the municipal year beginning February 1, 1912, to an amount not exceeding in the aggregate fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), and to issue a note or notes therefor payable within one year, any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the taxes of said municipal year.
ARTICLE 12 .- To see if the Town will pay the proper charge of an insurance company for acting as surety on the official bond of its officers.
Voted, that the Town appropriate one hundred dollars to pay for surety bonds for town officers.
ARTICLE 13 .- To hear and act upon the report of the Special Committee on water supply.
Report made by James F. Barry. The substance of the report was that further investigation failed to find any suitable or available source of water supply in town, and that if reason- able arrangements can be made with the City of Springfield the water from Little River will be the best solution of the problem.
Voted, that the report be accepted and the Committee discharged, and that the sum appropriated for the use of the Committee at the last Annual Town Meeting be reappropriated to pay any outstanding bills incurred by the Committee.
Voted, that the Town approve of the Amendment of James

F. Barry to the Springfield Water Bill now pending in the Legislature.
ARTICLE 14 .- To see if the Town will vote to compensate Mr. Edward Leonard for the preparation of the historical address delivered at the celebration of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Town.
Voted, that Mr. Leonard be paid fifty dollars.
ARTICLE 15 .- To hear and act upon the report of the Com- mittee appointed at the last Annual Town Meeting to investigate the whole question of providing school accommodations for the Town as well as the establishment of a High School in the Town.
Charles P. Davis reported for the Committee that the Com- mittee does not favor the establishment of a High School at present, but advises the construction of two-room additions to the brick school buildings at Agawam Center and Feeding Hills Center.
Voted, that the report be accepted.
ARTICLE 16 .- To see if the Town will authorize the building of additions to the brick buildings at Agawam Center and Feeding Hills Center and provide for the payment of the same.
Voted, that a Committee, consisting of the Selectmen, F. A. Worthington, and C. H. Granger, are hereby empowered and directed to build by contract additions to the brick school buildings at Agawam Center and Feeding Hills Center, and equip them with proper heating and ventilating systems, and furnishings, in substantial accordance with the plans submitted by the special Committee on School Accommodations, at a cost not to exceed eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000).
Voted, by more than a two thirds per cent of those voting in the affirmative, that the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be authorized to borrow a sum not to exceed eighteen thousand dollars for the construction and furnishing of addi-

tions to the brick school buildings at Agawam Center and Feed- ing Hills Center, and to issue notes or bonds of the Town therefor with interest at not to exceed 4 per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, said notes or bonds to be issued in accordance with the provisions of Section 13, Chapter 27 of the Revised Laws and amendments thereto.
ARTICLE 17 .- To see if the Town will take any action in regard to construction of sewers and provide for the payment of the same.
Voted, that the matter of construction of sewers be left with the Selectmen and that two thousand dollars ($2000) from liquor licenses and one thousand dollars ($1000) of last year's appro- priation be appropriated.
ARTICLE 18 .- To see if the Town will accept Barry Street as laid out by the Selectmen.
Voted, that the Town accept Barry Street as laid out by the Selectmen.
ARTICLE 19 .- To see if the Town will make an appropria- tion to defray the expense incurred in the resurfacing of the South End Bridge.
Voted, that the Town appropriate and raise by taxation two thousand dollars ($2000) to pay for resurfacing of South End Bridge.

SCHOOL BUILDING, MITTINEAGUE.
MAY 10, 1912.
ARTICLE 1 .- To choose a Moderator to preside in said meeting.

ARTICLE 2 .- To see if the Town will rescind the action taken under Article 22 in the warrant for the annual Town Meeting March 6, 1912, as to the amount of money to be raised by taxation, and take proper votes thereon.

ARTICLE 3 .- To see if the Town will vote to rescind action taken under Article 15 in the warrant for the annual Town Meeting March 6, 1912, or any part thereof.
Voted, to pass over this Article.
ARTICLE 4 .- To see if the Town will authorize its Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, to borrow the sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for the purpose of constructing and furnishing additions to each of the brick school buildings at Agawam Center and Feeding Hills Center.

voting in affirmative, that the Treasurer, with the approval of the Selectmen, be authorized to borrow a sum, not to exceed twenty thousand dollars for the construction and furnish- ing of additions to the brick school buildings at Agawam Center and Feeding Hills Center, and to issue notes or bonds of the Town therefor, with interest at not to exceed 4 per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, said notes or bonds to be issued in accordance with the provisions of Section 13, Chapter 27, of the Revised Laws and amendments thereto. All former votes inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
ARTICLE 5 .- To see if the Town will choose a Finance Committee.
Voted, that a Finance Committee be appointed to consist of the chairman of the Selectmen, the Town Treasurer, and three citizens of the Town, whose duty it shall be, to carefully consider the needs of the Town, and recommend such sums of money as they deem should be appropriated by the Town at the Annual Meeting of the Town in March of each year. Said Committee shall prepare estimates of the amount to be raised by taxation for the year of 1913 and make a report thereof which shall be printed in the Annual Report of the Town.

Voted, that the Water Commissioners of Agawam are hereby instructed to accept the proposition as made by the Water Com- missioners of Springfield according to the terms and conditions thereof.
ARTICLE 3 .- To see if the Town will vote to rescind the action taken by the town under Article 3 of the warrant for the Special Meeting held June 17, 1910; and to see if the Town will vote to make any extension of its system of water supply, borrow money for such purpose, and provide for the payment of any debt so incurred, or do any other act proper for such purpose as provided by Chapter 353 of Acts of 1905.
Voted, that the action taken by the Town at a Special Meet- ing held June 17, 1910, under Article 3 of the warrant thereof,

be and hereby is rescinded; and that the Water Commissioners are instructed to extend the system of water supply from the Springfield pipe line at Westfield Street down said street to Feeding Hills Center; thence south, east, and west as necessity requires as the Commissioners determine.
Voted, that the sum of thirty thousand dollars is hereby appropriated for the extension of the Town's system of water supply in accordance with vote passed this date, and that said amount shall be raised, as permitted by Chapter 353 of the Acts of 1905, by the issuance and sale of bonds of the Town to the amount of thirty thousand dollars, bearing date October 1, 1912, of one thousand dollars each, maturing, with semi- annual interest at the rate of 4 per cent per annum, one each year, beginning October 1, 1913. The principal and interest of said bonds shall be payable at the Old Colony Trust Company, Boston, Mass., and none of said bonds shall be obligatory with- out the authenticating certificate of said Trust Company indorsed thereon. The bonds shall be entitled "Agawam Water Loan, Act of 1905," shall be exempt from taxation in Massachusetts, shall be signed by the Town Treasurer, and countersigned by the Selectmen, and may be sold at public or private sale by the Treasurer and Selectmen, but at not less than par and accrued interest. All other particulars as to form, issuance, and sale of said bonds shall be determined by the Town Treasurer.
ARTICLE 4 .- To transact any other business that may legally come before said meeting.
