Voted, that the report be accepted as a report of progress ; that the Committee be continued in aid of the Board of Water

Commissioners to procure a water supply for the Town and that the sum of two hundred dollars (200.00) be appropriated for their use as required.


ARTICLE 14 .- To see if the Town will authorize the Select- men to have electric lights installed on River Road and other streets in the Town and appropriate money for their mainte- nance.


Voted, that the whole matter be left with the Selectmen with power to act.


ARTICLE 15 .- To see if the Town will take any action regarding the establishment of a High School in this Town.


ARTICLE 16 .- To see if the Town will take any action rela- tive to providing more schoolroom in any part of the Town.


Voted, to consider Articles 15 and 16 together.


Voted, that a Committee, consisting of the Board of School Committee, James F. Barry, Frank W. Hartford, Charles P. Davis, and Samuel S. Bodurtha, be authorized and instructed to investigate the whole question of providing school accommodations for the Town as well as the establishment of a High School in the Town, and report at the next Annual Meeting or an earlier Special Meeting if, in their judgment, the needs so require.


ARTICLE 17 .- To see if the Town will take any action regard- ing repairs to the heating and ventilating system in the brick building at Feeding Hills and appropriate money therefor.


Voted, that two hundred dollars (200.00) be appropriated for overhauling and repairing the heating and ventilating system in the brick building at Feeding Hills.


ARTICLE 18 .- To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money for the construction of a building for the use of the Fire Department.

Voted, that the subject matter of this article be referred to the Selectmen and that they report at some subsequent meeting.


ARTICLE 19 .- To see if the Town will take any action in regard to construction of sewers and provide for the payment of the same.


Voted, that the matter of construction of sewers be left with the Selectmen and that one thousand dollars be appropriated for their use.


ARTICLE 20 .- To see if the Town will take any action rela- tive to the purchase of a steam roller and provide for its pay- ment.


Voted, on motion of E. A. Kellogg, that the Selectmen be authorized to hire a steam roller for a year at five hundred dol- lars (500.00) with the option of buying; the $500.00 to be considered as part payment if the Town decides to purchase.


ARTICLE 21 .- To see if the Town will authorize the Select- men to rebuild the Whitman Bridge in such manner as the State Highway Commission may direct and provide for its payment.


Voted, that the Town authorize the Selectmen to rebuild the Whitman Bridge in such manner as the State Highway Commis- sion may direct and that the expense be met by money received for excise tax.


ARTICLE 22 .- To see if the Town will appropriate the sum of twelve hundred dollars for Meadow Street.


Voted, that twelve hundred dollars be appropriated.


ARTICLE 23 .- To see if the Town will make any appropri- ation for certain streets in the Town or for the general repairs of the highways.


Voted, that eight hundred dollars be expended at the discre- tion of the Selectmen on South Street and Shoemaker Lane.


Voted, that six hundred dollars be appropriated for Suffield

Street between Agawam Bridge and Bailey Hill to be expended at the discretion of the Selectmen.


Voted, that further repairs be left with the Selectmen.

ARTICLE 2 .- To see what action the Town will take relative to trolley extension among the towns of Western Massachusetts.


Voted, that the voters of Agawam in Town Meeting assem- bled favor the trolley lines as proposed in the bill now pending in the Legislature.


ARTICLE 3 .- To see if the Town will appropriate a sum of money to aid in furtherance of said trolley extension.


Voted, that a sum of money not to exceed two hundred dollars is hereby appropriated to pay the expenses of the committee that may be chosen to attend the legislative hearing.


ARTICLE 4 .- To choose some one to act as the representative of the Town in matters relative to the trolley extension.


Voted, that a committee of three be appointed by the chair to nominate a committee to represent the Town at the hearing in Boston on trolley extension.
