Article 41. (Reconstruction of Certain Streets.)


VOTED: (Unanimously) That the sum of thirty one thousand nine hundred (31,900) dollars be and hereby is appropriated for the relocation alteration and widening, construction of, specific repairs upon and improvement of all or any parts of River Street, Massachusetts Avenue and Park Avenue, within the town as now existing or hereafter relocated, altered or widened, including land damages, if any, under the provisions of law authorizing the assessment of betterments or otherwise; said appropriation to be used with any sum or sums which may be allotted by the Commonwealth or by the County of Middlesex, or both, for such purpose or purposes; said sum to be raised by general tax and expended under the direction of the Town Manager.

Article 42. (Alteration of Park Avenue Extension.)


VOTED: (Unanimously) That the alteration of the way known as Park Avenue Extension, on the westerly corner of Summer Street, a State Highway, substantially in the location as made and reported by the Board of Selectmen, in its capacity as Board of Survey, and as more particularly described in Article 42 of the Warrant be accepted and said way as altered be established and used under the provisions of law as a public way; and that the sum of two thousand three hundred fifty (2,350) dollars be and hereby is appropriated for the alteration of, construction of, and specific repairs upon said way; said sum to be raised by general tax and expended under the direction of the Town Manager.

VOTED: (Unanimously) That the laying out of a town way from Wollaston Avenue to the circle, substantially in the location of the private way known as Nicod Street, as more particularly described in Article 58 of the Warrant, under the provisions of law authorizing the assessment of betterments, as made and filed in the office of the Town Clerk by the Board of Selectmen, be accepted, said way established and said Board authorized to take land for the purpose of said way.
