Records of Precinct 2 - Boxford, Mass. Purswant to the Warrant posted by the Selectmen of said Boxford, the inhabitants of said Boxford. in Precinct two ( 2) qualified to vote as the law directs, assembled at the time and place and for the purpose therein expressed.


At ten (10), and twelve minutes o'clock A. M. the warrant calling the meeting was read by the war- den, who then publicly opened the ballot box, and the same having been personally examined by the election officers and the public, was found to be empty. The ballot boy was imme- diately locked, the register indicating 000, and the key of the box was taken and Retained by George A. Harriman the Constable in attendan- ce.


The warden then called upon the inhabitants of said Precinct qualified by law to vote to give in their ballots for the purpose expressed in said warrant, The ballot-box remained locked while the polls were opened, at (2) two o'clock and thirty five minutes the polls were closed, the ballot box was found to register sixty one (!).


The officers in charge of the check-list, in presence of the other officers and the public, counted in a distinct and audible voice the names, checked on said list and an- nounced the whole number to be sixty one (61), the ballot-box without being removed from the public view, was then opened by the warden, the ballots were taken there- from, and audibly counted one by one, and the warden publicly announced

That the action in regard to the report to be made by the Auditors shall be the same as. last year, as follows, voted, That the Auditors be requested to make out their report of all matters of interest to the town, and cause the report to be printed so that copies of it may be distributed one week before the next annual townmeeting is held, also that the Warrant calling the next annual town meeting shall be printed in this report And the Selective no shall closeall accounts on or before February first 1891, and have their Books ready at that time for the Auditors to examine, And it is further moved that the School Committee be requested to make out their report so that it may beinserted in the Auditors report
